Honestly ignore the p2w comments. You can easily gain decent gear by playing the game. Almost each week they give you boxes to select your gear that you can use to ultimately decide your build. Just join an active guild and farm and do events together and you’ll be fine. You can spend as little time as you want doing instances - finish once and you get raid feature to complete it without doing it over and over. Game is fun better with friends. You can absolutely whale in this game. However a f2p player can still kill a whale u lock other games.

After I played in 2 days I got bored. Graphics is good, but it was missing everything what the Real Ragnarok online gives. You can’t trade, you can’t share your items to your own characters. When you created a first character, your second character can’t use the item on the storage which your first character uses. You pick up drop like weapons and armors, its useless to your own job. Because if you’re a knight, all the item drops are from other jobs. If you put it on storage and plan to make another character so you can use those items, you can’t you use. Its basically trash just like the game itself. Its still just the same as Ragnarok eternal love. Its all about spending money to get stronger. Level ups is also limited, you can’t trade only get 180 minutes or something and thats it. Never get fooled by these people. I bet you 100% if this game doesn’t work out, like the “eternal love” they will create another game and make up all the lies.

I am putting a 5 stars so far here while I get into the weeds of the game. I have played every flavor of Ragnarok they have put out and Played IRO as a kid growing up. I understand everyone has to make money so some purchase mechanic needs to be in here. But the fact now nothing is limited to “you have to spend money to get X”. Everything is on the table and if you want something grind to get it. Yes there will be whales on all games you play. Does not matte what it is. But so far this is their best release yet. Time will tell and I will update accordingly

Into this game for 1+ mon. It feels like the original RO game in terms of the job classes, skills and mechanics. I love the way the character pauses for 5ms when got hit by attacks. All other RO games just pop up red HP numbers. That's the core reason to have the skill "endure". It doesn't simplify the skills much. The storyline is a bit boring but I have went over most of it. Buying everything using Zeny is great too. Happy to have RO back!
