MOBILE EQUIPMENT Pre-use inspections for the machines that move: forklifts and rough terrain forklifts, front end loaders, skid steers, boom and scissor lifts, pickup trucks and utility vehicles. Each type carries the checklist from its own pre-use form, so what you tick on screen matches the paper it replaces. Work the checklist with the engine off, then again with it running, and record the hour meter — or the odometer, on a truck — as you go. A reading lower than last time stops the check and asks you to confirm the meter was replaced, because a number that went backwards is either a typo or a different machine. OUT OF SERVICE Checklists can now mark the components that matter. Fail one of those and the machine is taken out of service with a DO NOT OPERATE notice, and it stays that way until someone explicitly releases it — a later passing inspection will not quietly clear it. Taking a machine out of service can raise the work order for its own repair, and your administrator can let field staff return equipment to service without chasing a manager. Both are company settings, off unless you turn them on. FIXES Photos queued while you are out of signal no longer report themselves as lost while they are safely waiting to upload. Corrected several screens where buttons and labels could run off the edge on smaller phones.

WORK ORDERS Create a work order from scratch with no signal — customer, site, services, parts, assets and scheduled date all included. It syncs itself when you're back in range, so a job raised in a plant room or basement is never lost. Bill a service at a price you agree with the customer, instead of the catalog rate. Adjust it when you add the line, or afterwards from the work order. NEW ASSET TYPES Sprinkler control valves — post indicator valves (PIV), wall post indicator valves (WPIV), OS&Y valves and butterfly valves — each with NFPA 25 inspection points covering valve position, indicator plate, lock and chain, tamper switch, and the annual full open/close test. Emergency lights, with the monthly 30-second functional test and the annual 90-minute discharge test tracked as separate checks. SCANNING Zebra hardware scanners now fire on every screen with a scanner, not just the main scan screen — including the parts and tools screens. Plus a long list of smaller fixes and refinements throughout.

Work orders now work offline Add services, parts, notes and expenses to a work order with no signal at all. Anything you record is held on the device and syncs automatically once you're back in range, so a job in a plant room or a basement no longer has to go onto paper and be re-entered later. Completing and invoicing a work order still need a connection. Ladders, scaffolds and walk boards Five new asset types, one for each of the standard evaluation forms: Stepladder, Extension Ladder, Rolling Warehouse Ladder, Rolling Tower Scaffold and Aluminum Walk Board. They print QR labels, inspect, schedule and report exactly like everything else. Condition checklists An asset can carry a list of components an inspector marks one by one — OK, Defect or N/A — instead of collapsing the whole form into a single pass or fail. Every component has to be answered before the inspection can be submitted, so the record shows each one was genuinely looked at, and defects come through onto the report with the inspector's notes. Check equipment in and out Anything that walks off — a ladder, a scaffold — can be checked out to a person and checked back in. The label already on the equipment does both jobs: scan it and choose Inspect or Check Out. Customer sign-off by email Send a customer a single-use link to review and sign a work order from wherever they are, for the times nobody is on site to sign in person. Also in this release Work order search now covers every work order rather than only the ones already loaded, and matches service notes, invoice numbers and assigned technicians. Reports can carry your company logo, and you can choose whether an exported work order shows pricing. Plus a long list of fixes across inspections, reporting and offline sync.

WORK INSTRUCTIONS ON A MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE A schedule used to get one small notes box. It can now carry a full step-by-step procedure with reference photos, so whoever does the work can see how it is done, not just that it is due. • Build the steps on the asset's edit screen: an instruction per step, reference photos, and a link to a manual or spec sheet • Drag to reorder, and choose per schedule whether to show the steps or a single Details paragraph • Steps appear read-only during the inspection, so the technician follows them without disturbing them • Reference photos are cached when a site syncs, so they still open with no signal • Write a procedure once and reuse it: Copy from Another Asset and Set as Default both carry the steps and photos across SET MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES WHILE YOU GENERATE QR CODES Schedules no longer have to be added one asset at a time after the fact. The Generate QR Codes screen asks up front and applies your answer to the whole batch. • If your company already has defaults saved for that asset type, it shows exactly what will be applied • If not, set them up on the spot, copy them from another asset, or use the recommended schedules for that type • Admins and managers can save the choice as the default, so the next batch is a single confirmation • Newly generated assets still count as unused inventory until they are inspected, so your site stats stay accurate CUSTOMER SIGN-OFF ON A WORK ORDER Capture the customer's signature on site, with their printed name, and it works with no signal. • A Customer Approval card on the work order takes the signature and stores it against the job • Signed while offline? It is saved on the device and syncs later, and the work order shows that it is waiting • The signature appears on the work order report and its PDF • Off by default: turn on "Require work order signature" in Company Settings WORK ORDERS OPEN QUICKLY, AND OPEN OFFLINE • Opening a work order took around nine seconds. Projects — capture a site walk as you go Walk a building, drop a "spot" everywhere work is needed, and leave a scannable QR on the wall before you move on. Unit-bound fire extinguisher tracking Fire extinguisher maintenance schedules now follow the bottle, not the location. When you swap a bottle, change a serial, or deploy from a spare pile, ProInspect captures what happened and migrates the schedules with the bottle. Find assets by serial number • On the Status screen, the QR scan button (and hardware scanners) now also accepts manufacturer barcodes — scan the serial sticker on the asset itself and we'll find it for you • Type a serial in either search field — the site list or the asset list — and tap "Search all sites for…" to jump straight to the asset, even when you don't know which site it's at • When the same serial is recorded on more than one asset, a picker shows all matches with their site names so you can choose the right one Zoom addd to asset photos.
