Die Kraft des Großglockners und die Stille der Berge. Grossglockner ULTRA-TRAIL – der Trailrun auf der "Glocknerrunde" mit 110 km und 6.500 Hm rund um den höchsten Berg Österreichs: Es ist Freitag, kurz vor 22.00, Kaprun, unsere Blicke wenden sich Richtung Alpenhauptkamm. Zart schimmern die Gletscher des Kitzsteinhorns im Mondlicht. Dort hin startet gleich unser einzigartiges Abenteuer im Herzen der österreichischen Alpen. Meist auf Single Trails überqueren wir zwei Mal die Alpen, über klare Gebirgsbäche und entlang von der 14 Gletschern durch die wunderschöne Hochgebirgslandschaft des Nationalparks Hohe Tauern. Die Trails verlaufen durch 3 Bundesländer, 7 Täler und 6 Orte, vorbei an 14 Gletschern und 300 Gipfeln über 3.000m rundherum.
Auch 2025 wird der GGUT zu einem Treffen der internationalen Top-Läufer*innen, mit rund 2000 Läufer*innen aus mehr als 40 Nationen und garantiert zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis und familiären Trail-Wochenende für alle.
