Naked Paste

Clean pasting, füdliblutt

Only for Mac

Naked Paste is a lightweight, Mac-native utility for pasting plain text — butt naked. Designed for writers, developers, and anyone tired of formatting surprises, it strips away fonts, styles, and formatting when pasting. Only where you want it. Unlike system-wide plain text paste apps, Naked Paste lets you pick which apps get the clean, füdliblutt treatment (that’s Swiss German for butt naked). Set it once, and paste nudely where it matters. And now, it’s even smarter: Copy text straight from images using OCR. Just put an image in your clipboard or shake your mouse to grab a screenshot, and Naked Paste pulls out the plain text for you. See the word and character count of your current clipboard — right in the menu bar. Stay in control of what you paste, how it looks, and how much of it there is. Why it stands out: • Clean, minimal menu bar interface • Paste plain text selectively, app by app • Copy text from images with built-in OCR • See word and character count of your clipboard • Lightweight, always on, built for macOS • Private by design — nothing leaves your device • A cheeky butt icon to keep things light Naked Paste helps Mac users keep their paste clean, measured, and formatting-free — füdliblutt (butt naked), as the Swiss would say.
