Smarter quick entry, multiple addresses per pal, and a faster way to add several notes about the same person. NEW • Multiple addresses: give a pal a home, work, or vacation address (or more). Tap one to open Maps, long-press to copy, and choose which one is primary. Linking a contact brings in all of its addresses. • Addresses in quick entry: type "Sam address 22 Baker St" or "Jen's address is ..." and betterpal saves it to the right pal. A new street address becomes the main one, and the old one is kept as an extra address instead of being lost. • Add several entries to one pal: select entries on the Pals tab, tap Process, and choose "One pal" to turn them all into notes on a new or existing pal. Each note keeps its original date, and birthdays, reminders, and locations are still picked up. • Visit betterpal.app straight from Extras. IMPROVED • Better name detection. "Coffee with Olivia", "My barber Tony", "Uber driver Ahmed", "her name is Fatima", and "Dr. Patel" now find the right name, and betterpal leaves the name blank rather than guessing "Coffee" or "My". • Notes no longer split in the middle of "Dr.", "St. Louis", or "5.11", and a number like "5.11" is no longer mistaken for a reminder date. • "Met Dana and Chris" is recognized as two people, while "Grace, Mateo's mom" stays one. • Distance sort uses whichever of a pal's addresses is closest to you. • Send Feedback now opens Gmail or Outlook if that's your preferred mail app. FIXED • Tapping a birthday notification now opens that pal (it used to just open the app). • Fixed the text of a note disappearing when you tapped + to start another note. • Notes added or deleted on your Mac now sync reliably to your iPhone, and the reverse. • Added safeguards so a storage hiccup can never wipe your pals list. • "Lives in Denver now" no longer saves the location as "Denver Now". • Clearing a pal's location also removes their old map pin. Version 1.4 is our biggest update yet, with a new Family Tree view, smarter relationship suggestions, and a tougher quiz mode. NEW • Family Tree View - switch the Network into a clean top-to-bottom family tree. Add a work relationship like manager or report and it doubles as an org chart. • Smarter Smart Connections - betterpal now reads gender from your relationships and names, so suggestions land right (aunt vs. uncle, niece vs. nephew). • Linked Contact Changes - when a phone contact you've linked changes, betterpal flags it so your records never drift. • Smart Connections banner - a tap-to-review banner on your Pals list surfaces new relationship suggestions, with a count of how many are waiting. • Free Recall quiz mode - type a name from memory instead of multiple choice, for a more honest test of what you remember. • Quiz by tag group - drill just the people from one event, team, or trip. IMPROVED • Roomier Network view with clearer spacing and unconnected people separated out. • Family tree polish: more zoom-out room, a smoother entry animation, and a subtle glow to guide the eye. • Smart Connections suggestions now stack as swipeable cards you can tap to open. • Pick more than one advance birthday reminder (say, a week before and again on the day).
