Never be caught off guard by bad weather!
Meteo Alerte brings official weather alerts, forecasts, and widgets together in one app. Receive severe weather notifications and find out what to expect today and in
the days ahead.
Why choose Meteo Alerte?
- Official alerts: warnings from Romania’s National Meteorological Administration (ANM) and the European MeteoAlarm.org network — from short-term severe weather alerts
(nowcasting) to heat, thunderstorm, and wind warnings.
- Weather and a 10-day forecast: check the current temperature, feels-like temperature, hourly forecast, and daily outlook for your chosen location. See precipitation
chances and daily highs and lows to plan ahead.
- Weather widgets with Premium: see the weather and relevant warnings at a glance, without opening the app. Add Home Screen widgets in multiple sizes with current
temperatures, forecasts, and alerts. On iPhone, Lock Screen widgets are also available.
- Relevant notifications: choose the Romanian counties you want to follow and receive alerts for the areas that matter to you.
- Travel alerts: automatically receive notifications when you enter a county with active weather warnings. Ideal for road trips, holidays, or business travel — without
manually checking every area along your route.
- Quickly add your current county: add the county you’re in to your watchlist with a single tap. No searching through lists, no hassle.
- Interactive map: see active weather alerts across Romania and the affected areas on one map.
- Alert history: choose a day and browse the weather warnings issued for that date.
- No account or email required: use the app without creating an account. You choose which counties to follow and whether to enable location-based features.
Don’t let the weather dictate your plans. Download Meteo Alerte and stay informed and prepared.
