New in 2.3: your live speeds in the notch, with a little game built from your network's own spikes. Private and on-device. Pay once, no subscription.
See exactly how fast your Mac is moving data — live in your menu bar, and in the notch.
SpeedPro reads your Mac's own network counters, so every number is your real traffic, not a test. Download and upload update every second, at a fixed width that never shoves your other menu bar items around.
LIVE SPEED
• Download and upload in the menu bar — stacked, side by side, one direction, the total, or just an icon
• A live chart of the last 30 seconds, minute or five minutes, with the peak of each
• Mbps or MB/s, measured every half second up to every five seconds
DATA USAGE
• Every day's download and upload, counted as it happens and kept for 90 days
• 7, 30 and 90-day charts, your daily average and your busiest day
• Export your history as a CSV file
• A daily data limit that warns you at 80% and again at 100% — made for hotspots and metered plans
CONNECTION
• A log of every drop and reconnection: how long you were down, and how long you had been up
• Alerts when your connection drops or comes back, or when download speed falls well below its recent average
• Your interface, local IP address, router and link rate, each one click to copy
THE NOTCH
• Rest the pointer on the notch and a card opens with your live speeds
• A little runner game inside — your network's own spikes build the course
• Scenes that follow the time of day where you are, worked out from your Mac's time zone
• Displays without a notch get a virtual one at the top of the screen
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
SpeedPro never opens a network connection. No accounts, no analytics, no servers — every measurement stays on this Mac.
Pay once. No subscription, no in-app purchases.
Built natively for the Mac, with no Dock icon and a light touch on CPU and battery. Available in English, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Nice app but..

I really like the app but missing a feature in my opinion since I am using this which is display option for mb and MB. User could be able to change how they want to show the speed in bit or byte.. Hope this will be added in next update..
Developer Response
Hi, and thanks so much for this — you were spot on. Version 2.2.1 is now on the way with exactly what you asked for: head to Settings → Display → Speed Unit and flip the segmented picker between Mbps (bits) and MB/s (bytes). Your choice applies everywhere — menu bar, speed graph, chart axis, session stats, copied speed info, and even the speed-drop alerts. Feedback like yours is what makes SpeedPro better — keep it coming. 🙏
What's new in 2.3:
• A game in your notch — rest the pointer on the notch and click to jump. Your network's own spikes build the course.
• Scenes that follow the time of day where you are: city, mountains, coast, forest, desert, plains or snow, from dawn to night. Pick your own in Settings.
• A redesigned dashboard, Settings window and welcome tour.
• Icon Only mode for a quieter menu bar.
• More accurate speeds: every interface is counted on its own, so a wrapping counter can never show up as a phantom spike.
• Sunrise and sunset come from your Mac's time zone — no location access, no network.
