Redact hides personal details in screenshots, photos and PDFs before you share them. It reads the page on your iPhone, outlines phone numbers, emails, ID, card and account numbers, and lets you cover them in a tap. Nothing is uploaded, ever.
FINDS IT FOR YOU
• An on-device scan reads English, Malay and Chinese text, down to the fine print
• Spots emails, phone numbers, links, addresses, ID numbers, card and account numbers, license plates and labeled names
• Review the list, uncheck false alarms and redact the rest, or tap any outline to cover just that one
• Nothing is covered until you say so
HIDES IT PROPERLY
• Solid black redaction boxes
• Blur and pixelate that can't be guessed back. Ordinary blur smudges the hidden text itself, so it can be matched. Redact swaps the inside of the box for a nearby patch of the picture first, so nothing of the original is left
• Tap a line of text to cover exactly that line
• Low, Medium or High intensity for blur and pixelate
• Highlight, underline, strike through, draw and add text
• Undo and redo every step
MARKS A COPY FOR ONE USE
• Write "For tenancy application only", or any purpose, across every page of a copy
• Handy when a landlord, employer or agency asks for a copy of your ID, payslip or bank statement: the marked copy can't be reused for anything else
• The mark comes in 15 languages, picked from your phone's language
