Velock 3.0.2: Fixes and Improvements • When importing from Photos with “Delete Original Photo” on, the originals in an import are kept if any item wasn't saved, including a Live Photo that only partly exported. Items that failed no longer linger as broken entries in the list or in Recently Deleted. Temporary copies are cleaned up after import. • Fixed “Release Sandbox” sometimes failing or leaving data behind. • A locked space can only be unlocked with its own password, and a wrong password no longer affects the current space. • Files: renaming or moving a folder onto an existing name now shows a message instead of overwriting. Failed pastes are reported, and items restored from Recently Deleted return to the right place and open normally. • “Save to Photos” now removes its temporary decrypted copies and shows how many items failed. • Files shared to Velock from other apps go only into the space you're signed in to, and files with the same name no longer overwrite each other. • More reliable backups with Velock Sync: resolving a conflict or a folder deleted on another device no longer stalls backup, and large numbers of changes are backed up in one go. Also fixed a possible hang when signing out and reduced memory use when importing very tall images.

Velock 3.0.1: Fixes and Improvements • Fixed a crash that could occur when importing several videos at once. • Import progress now counts each Live Photo as one item instead of counting its photo and video separately. • AutoFill: Face ID and Touch ID unlock is more reliable. If biometrics can't be used, the master password screen appears instead of AutoFill closing. • Fixed files with Turkish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic and other names not opening after import. • Faster sign-in and smoother Home animations. A line no longer flashes across the tab bar when unlocking.

Velock 3.0: A Whole New Look • All-new design: sign-in, Home, Files, Photos, Credentials and Settings have all been redesigned. Home now shows item counts for each category, pinned items and recent items at a glance. • Theme colors: pick your favorite color in Settings. • Cleaner headers: descriptions and segmented controls sit right next to the title. As you scroll down, the search field tucks away into a magnifying glass and the top of the page turns into translucent frosted glass. • Liquid Glass on iOS 26: the tab bar and the full-screen viewer toolbar use the system's native Liquid Glass effect. • More immersive full-screen viewing: no more white bars at the top and bottom, and controls float in frosted capsules. During video playback, the exit button fades out along with the other controls. • Touch ID support: devices with a fingerprint sensor can now turn on quick unlock. • More stable, lighter on memory: browsing lots of photos uses less memory, a memory leak during encryption and decryption is fixed, and so is a rare issue that stopped settings from saving. • Other fixes: file names in Hindi and other languages now display correctly, and multi-select actions no longer bring up the share sheet or delete confirmation twice.

What's New Data Sync is now Cloud Backup: pair with the standalone Velock Sync app to back up your encrypted Velock content to the cloud storage or NAS of your choice. • Redesigned cloud backup settings: turn it on with a single "Allow Sync access" switch, with authorization management, Go to Sync, recovery card, and diagnostics clearly organized. Once it's on, you can jump straight to Sync to continue. • Every Sync connection request opens its own confirmation page, so you allow or deny just that request—even after unlocking your device. • Simpler recovery card: on paper you only need the name, key, password, and checksum. Together with the encrypted recovery file in your original backup folder, they restore your cloud backup. Older recovery cards and codes still work. • Importing, renaming, moving, or deleting items in Files now prepares them for backup right away—no need to reopen the app. • Transfer records now show the data type, action, and count, with a details view and Load More. • Fixes and improvements: fixed a rare iOS issue that could damage encrypted files, and saving passwords, cards, and notes is more reliable. After entering a wrong unlock password, you can try again right away.
