Hermes 1.7 brings Uranian astrology to your fingertips, with a new symbol font and a fresh welcome. Uranian Dial Tap the dial button on any chart screen and the wheel opens into four rulers around the screen, forming the cardinal cross. Everything on the cross reads at a glance, and the centre lists each point with its position and its orb from the arm. Choose a 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 degree dial. Lock time and drag in a circle to turn it, with a light tap as each point crosses an arm, or unlock to wind time. Pinch to zoom and spread the rulers. Works on UnoWheel, Transit, bi-wheel and tri-wheel, with each chart's points in its own colour. The dial is part of Hermes Premium. Uranian points and midpoints The eight Uranian points of the Hamburg School, Cupido to Poseidon, can be shown on the wheels and the dial. Define midpoints as custom points to place them on the dial; a new midpoint is named A/B automatically, such as Sun/Moon. A separate selection for the dial Body Display Settings has been redesigned, with Standard and Uranian Dial tabs, each with its own planets, asteroids, house cusps and custom points. Asteroid sets Add every asteroid that has a glyph in one tap, load themed sets such as Love & Relationships, Goddesses or the trans-Neptunian objects, or save your own. Missing asteroids are downloaded for you. New glyphs Hermes's own symbol font now includes the Uranian points, the dwarf planets and other trans-Neptunian objects, more than 80 named asteroids, the Arabic parts and the aspects, in regular, bold and extra bold. A new welcome The welcome tour is new, with short videos on moving time, Planet Focus, combining charts, the Uranian dial and more. Watch them again anytime in Settings > How to Use Hermes. Plus the new Part of Faith, Pholus built in, corrected aspect and asteroid symbols, and various fixes and improvements.

Hermes 1.6 keeps you in step with the sky: notifications for the events you care about, composite charts for relationships, and new widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen. Notifications Hermes can now notify you about the sky, all calculated on your device. Create rules in Settings › Notifications for sign ingresses, retrograde and direct stations, New Moons, Full Moons and quarters, void of course Moon periods, eclipses, and the birthdays of your saved natal charts. Choose the planets, signs and zodiac for each rule, get notified at the exact moment or up to a week ahead, and set quiet hours so nothing wakes you at night. Composite charts Select two natal or event charts on your table and choose Composite in the Calculate menu. Build a midpoint composite, where every planet and point sits at the midpoint of the two charts, or a Davison chart, cast for the midpoint in time and place, which works like any other chart. Planetary day and hour The Positions tab of the chart report now shows the planet of the day and the planet of the hour for the chart's moment and place, together with sunrise, sunset and the time span of the current planetary hour. New widgets Planet Focus brings the aspects to one point of the current sky to your Home Screen. Planetary Hour and Planetary Day show the planet ruling the current hour or day, on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. Long press a widget to choose its point and location. Plus various fixes and performance improvements.

Hermes 1.5 brings a new way to read aspects, new ways to share your work, and a tool that finds the exact moment a planet arrives. Planet Focus Tap the target button, then any planet: the wheel folds away and the planets glide onto a wide arc, with your chosen planet at the bottom centre. Planets behind it in the zodiac sit on the left, those ahead on the right, and every aspect is drawn as a coloured line with its orb. Pinch or use the zoom buttons for a closer look, tap an aspect chip to jump to it, or tap any planet on the arc to focus on it instead. Asteroids, custom points, the Ascendant and the MC are included, and applying and separating aspects are marked. Planet Focus for transits, bi-wheels and tri-wheels Planet Focus also works on the Transit, bi-wheel and tri-wheel screens. On combined charts each planet carries its chart's number and colour, and the arc shows the other charts by default, so transit-to-natal and synastry aspects are easy to read. Transit Finder and Degree Finder Two new tools in the Calculate menu find exactly when a planet reaches a point. Transit Finder searches the planets and angles of a chart on your table, in that chart's own zodiac; Degree Finder works with any degree, no chart needed. Choose a conjunction or any major aspect, list the next or previous passes — retrograde passes included — or jump straight to a specific one, like the 5th pass, and add any result to your table as a chart. Share beautiful chart images Every chart screen — UnoWheel, Transit, bi-wheel and tri-wheel — has a new share button. It creates a polished portrait image of your chart with its details and the Sun, Moon and Ascendant, in a light or dark style, ready for Messages, social media or anywhere else. PDF reports The Dynamic search, Fixed Star Conjunctions and Star Activation Index reports can now be shared as professionally designed PDFs, each with a cover page showing the chart and key figures, neatly paginated results and page numbers. Share charts with other Hermes users Select one or more charts in Saved Charts and share them as a Hermes chart file over AirDrop, Messages, Mail or any messaging app. The recipient taps the file to open it in Hermes, reviews the charts and imports them in one go. Every chart is checked before import, charts you already have are flagged, and notes stay private unless you choose to include them. Plus various fixes and performance improvements.

Explore your chart across the globe with Astrocartography. See where planets align with the Ascendant, Descendant, MC and IC, filter lines by planet and angle, and choose between standard, satellite and globe map views. Tap the airplane button to preview a relocated chart. Move the map to see how the chart’s angles and houses change at another location. Astrocartography also supports secondary progressed charts. We’ve refreshed onboarding so you can set your own location from the start, improved the eclipse search interface, and fixed several issues, including transit widget bugs.
