An update to my previous 3-Star Review - Positives: I’m glad I’ll be able to keep the Launchpad style workflow moving forward as new macOS are released. I’ve used Launchpad Manager for years and I consider an essential part of my workflow. As such I was able to get the AppGrid Pro upgrade discount which was nice. Also the latest update now allows for better contrast settings of the GUI to help keep the folders from looking washed out. Thank you! Feature Request: I do wish that I could assign a Hot Corner to AppGrid Launcher. Negatives: I have noticed that some of my app icons are missing from their container folder; I had a folder dedicated to my Arturia standalone synth apps and all of those Arturia app icons within it are missing in AppGrid. The folder is there but none of the apps are visible. I’ve tried the different available import grid options (Launchpad DB, Launchpad Manager user configurations, etc) and none of them seem to fix this issue. If these hiccups were fixed I’d be completely happy. Looking forward to AppGrid updates!

Much like the original Launchpad, but more easily customizable. Grouping apps together in the original app was a painstaking process, but it’s much simpler here with multi-selection. Plus, you can back up your setup and switch between multiple layouts, if that’s your thing. One helpful feature would be additional sorting options. Currently, the app only allows alphabetical one-click sorting - but additional sorting methods and options (as well as potentially auto-sorting?) would be amazing.

I have been using this developer’s LaunchPad App since maybe 2014 or whenever it came out. It’s been a while for sure. That App stopped working because of OS Changes by Apple. The Developer wrote a new app. App Grid. Once I saw the email, I upgraded immediately. I need a small amount of assistance, but I got email replies within an hour. Some Key points. Drag this App to your Menu Bar, remove the Apple Launch Pad. Go ahead and Sort Everything in the easy to use drop down and BOOM ! All Apps sorted out. I am a Developer as well so I understand the importance of How Zek Logic Runs their business. Top Notch and would buy again in a second. With over 200 Apps on my mac, this is INCREDIBLE and works flawlessly ! Thank you Attila for such great Guidance and fast responses ~ Erik

The randomness and chaos of the stock launcher in the new MacOS is crazy. I don’t know what apple was thinking trashing LaunchPad for app launcher.This app has the look and feel of the old tried and true launchpad that I’ve come to know over the last decade.One thing that would be nice is some sorting ability and the addition of gestures. I can’t get this to accept the ‘pinch’ gesture that opens the app launcher - that may not even be possible if apple has locked it down - but other gestures are available. I’m currently using Dory which has gestures (I’m using the three finger swipe down gesture) to open AppGrid. Its a bit convoluted but it works and is way better than what apple gave us.
