Drop: Injection Planner
Plan and manage injections
Free
Repeated injections in the same site cause damage. Drop helps you rotate properly, log every dose, and stay on top of your treatment.
Track. Rotate. Protect.
If you self-inject medication, rotating your injection sites isn't optional. Repeated injections in the same location cause lipohypertrophy, scar tissue, and reduced absorption, affecting how well your medication actually works.
Drop makes proper rotation simple.
Drop is built for anyone who self-injects regularly, including people managing:
- Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes (insulin)
- GLP-1 therapy (semaglutide, tirzepatide, Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro)
- Autoimmune conditions (methotrexate, adalimumab, etanercept)
- Fertility treatment
- MS, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and other biologics
What it does:
- Visual injection site map for abdomen, thighs, arms, and more
- Track every injection with date, time, dose, and location
- Rotate sites automatically to prevent overuse
- Review your full injection history at a glance
- Works across iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch
All data is stored on your device. No account required. No personal health data collected or shared. Drop works entirely offline.
Designed with empathy. Built for reliability.
more We've updated the calendar to show your injections and scheduled injections at a glance. We've also improved performance across Drop.
1.1.26 May 15
We've been busy! This update adds a lot of new features across the app.
We've added injection quality scores, giving each injection a 0-100 rating with a detailed breakdown so you can track how well you're rotating sites over time. Alongside this, Drop now automatically detects anomalies in your injection history, flagging things like unusually short recovery times, discomfort spikes, or injections that are too close together.
We've added a discomfort tag filter to Search, so you can quickly find injections by tags like bruised, stinging, or swollen. You can also now export your injection history as a PDF report.
Medication management has been improved with expiration date tracking, current supply tracking, and low-supply refill reminders, so you always know when it's time to reorder.
We've added Calendar sync for your scheduled injections, so they appear directly in Calendar.app. Cooldown notifications now include 15-minute and 30-minute snooze options. Drop also now integrates with Focus modes, letting you suppress cooldown notifications and Live Activities when you don't want to be interrupted.
Your Live Activity preferences are now synced across your devices via iCloud. We've also added a new StandBy widget showing your active cooldown countdown and next scheduled injection, and a new Next Injection complication for Apple Watch.
We've added Spotlight support for your injection history, letting you jump straight to any injection from a search. Siri shortcut suggestions are now seeded automatically after each injection, making it even faster to log with your voice.
Finally, we've improved haptic feedback throughout the app, polished the Add Injection and Add Medication flows, and fixed a number of bugs to keep things running smoothly. Thank you for using Drop!
