Chat got a proper pass this release.
Notifications now behave the way they should. You won't get buzzed about the
conversation that's already open on your screen, and just as importantly, you
will get notified about chats you've moved away from — previously those could
go quiet on you.
Opening a chat is instant. The name and photo are there on the first frame
instead of appearing a moment later, and backing out no longer makes your
conversation list blank and redraw.
Clear chat and Delete chat now work. They were silently failing before, so
messages you'd cleared would reappear.
Tap any tab you're already on and you'll jump straight back to the top of the
list — Home, Matches, Meetups, Chat and Locations.
Smaller things: the send button is sharper on high-resolution screens, your Top
Host badge now shows in the menu, and Safety Center tells you what actually went
wrong if your emergency contacts can't load.
