VividPhoto Studio

Background Photo Editor

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Edit the background, keep your subject true to life. Filters, blur and live Metal FX — with the person in your photo left untouched. VividPhoto Studio edits the world around you, not you. Pick a photo and VividPhoto automatically finds the person in it. Every adjustment, filter and blur is applied to the background only, so skin tones and faces stay exactly as they were. The result: bold, creative photos where your subject still looks like themselves. YOUR SUBJECT STAYS TRUE • On-device person detection separates people from the background automatically • Everything you change applies to the background — the person keeps their original colors PRO LIGHT & COLOR CONTROLS • Exposure, contrast, highlights and shadows • Hue, saturation and luminance • Precise ruler sliders; double-tap to reset any value • Stack every adjustment at the same time CREATIVE LOOKS • 60+ effects: classic photo effects, film stocks, stylize, halftone, distortion and more • Real-time Metal FX shaders — VHS, chromatic pulse, infrared, dithering, waves and more • Adjustable effect strength • Background blur: Gaussian, motion, zoom, disc and box • One-tap presets like Vivid, Warm Portrait, Vintage Film, Moody B&W and High Key • Crop with common aspect ratios COMPARE & SAVE • Long-press the photo to see the original • Export at full resolution straight to Photos PRIVATE BY DESIGN All editing happens on your device.
