Drop two versions of a PDF, Excel or Word file to highlight the text and values that changed. Group versions as v1, v2… and follow them one by one. Text and folders too.
A contract comes back from a client. A revised quote. A manuscript full of edits. Are you still hunting for the changes by eye?
Checking by eye is slow, things get missed, and it is hard to be sure you caught everything.
Diff Pro Max highlights the text and values that changed between two versions of a PDF, Excel or Word file. Just drag and drop them. Group versions of the same file as v1, v2… and follow the changes from the first draft to the latest.
It also compares text, folders, images, audio and video.
Sound familiar?
• You need to verify which version of a document was sent to the client
• You're about to deliver, but want to double-check everything
• The designer says "I updated it" but you can't spot the difference
• You edited the code, but can't remember exactly what changed
Diff Pro Max lets you compare, review, and merge — all in one place.

Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Document Compare can now compare text read by OCR in Plain Text
- When you read a PDF that has no text data (such as a scanned PDF) with "Analyze with OCR" in Visual (Pro), Plain Text also compares the text that was read. While it compares OCR text, it says so (the text may contain misreadings).
Improvements
- After running OCR in Visual, switching to Plain Text and back meant running OCR again. The OCR results are now kept.
- The notice shown for PDFs with little text data now points to where you can compare how the pages look by the names on screen ("Diff" in the "Image" tab).
