I love the game and the concept of collecting pets and finding new color and mutation combinations through breeding, however, if you want to buy pets rather than adopting, you HAVE to pay for a membership. It’s not crazy expensive, but people should at least be able to either bid in auctions or buy individual pets without a membership. I think it’d make the game more enjoyable, maybe even keep people playing or coming back to play. Other than that, everything is pretty fun! Getting to see so many different colors and mutations, along with all the different animals and endless possibilities in combinations.

This game is quite literally the most in depth genetics game I have ever played. I love how relaxed it is, and how you don’t feel stressed about what’s going on. You can just hop in and play whenever you feel like it. It is honestly such a struggle to find decent genetics games that are laid back but have a bit of community with them. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this game and am more than happy to have added it to my regular rotation of games. The gameplay is well balanced, the pedigrees are in depth, the costs of things are fair, the customization of pets is amazing.. just so many positives, I am so glad my friend showed me this game!Some feedback I have for the app, just little things because genuinely this game is so great:1. The color text BCC doesn’t show up on the app, so a lot of the presentations look wonky. It’s also hard to edit presentations on the app but I don’t mind going to the website to edit them.2. I would love if there was an option to turn off haptic feedback. It gets really distracting when I’m turning eggs and it buzzes after each individual egg. So the ability to turn this on or off would be lovely!3. The notifications would be nice if there was a little number that popped up like on the website version. Right now I just check them when I remember and I miss a lot.4. Please make it so when you breed pets, the confirmation shows both pet names like it does on the website version. That’s such a small thing but super helpful with ensuring you’re breeding the right pets together!

So I’m not much of a game person, but out of boredom I started OviPets when it was just a Facebook game back in 2012. I’ve played on and off throughout the years, but I’ve always made my way back to this game! I’m super glad they also just released the new app, for years I’ve been waiting for that release for years!As far as gameplay, it takes a little time to navigate all the ins and outs of the game, but thankfully the community in OviPets is amazing at being helpful, and players come from all around the world. I’ve rarely ran into bad apples in my 14 year gaming experience (literally… after this long I’ve only had to block 1 person!) With the new app being released it is different than the navigation on the original web browser version- I’ve noticed a few have had troubles navigating the new app, however I moved over to it fully when it was released and I will say I like it a TON better than the browser version. You have a lot more controls to make things such as naming, egg turning, adopting, ect much easier! Any problems or glitches I’ve had within the app, the OviPets team was always super quick and successful at helping fix problems. All in all, amazing game, amazing community, and an outstanding OviPets staff. I recommend this game to every person I talk to games about. Hopefully whoever is reading this enjoys the game as much as we do! 😁

It’s so annoying opening an app and having to make an account. I didn’t understand the game at all even thought I read all the info and held the logo in various screens for more information. I figured out how to adopt a pet, eventually, but couldn’t understand why I could adopt it and not others. Don’t know how: breeding, genetics, or literally anything in this game worked. It had seemingly no explanation and the dashboard was hectic. Maybe Im simply stupid but the hunger function and many others just didn’t display/work. I also don’t know whats fun about a game that’s only purpose is to post your pets and interact with others. (No gameplay as far as I could tell). My suggestion would be like a short display screen explaining the point and or what to do in this “game”. I was on for 20 minutes and couldn’t tell your squat about this game.
