Prepare perfect reference sheets—grids, rulers & composition guides—then export true-scale PDFs for printing. Drag in a photo, align it, and print in seconds.
ArtGrid PrintAssist is a macOS utility for artists and designers who need precise, printable reference sheets. Drop in a photo, add a grid, ruler bands, and composition overlays (Rule of Thirds, Golden Ratio, more), fine-tune the image, then export a 100% scale PDF that matches your on-screen measurements.
Why it’s better:
Exact prints, every time. PDF export preserves scale, grid spacing, and ruler ticks for dependable 1:1 output.
Grid + rulers that work together. Dots or lines on the canvas, with outside ruler bands for accurate measuring.
Composition clarity. Rule of Thirds, Center Lines, Diagonals, and Golden Ratio overlays to evaluate balance fast.
Effortless placement. Fit/Fill, pan, zoom, rotate—plus quick reset.
Helpful image tweaks. Exposure, highlights, shadows, brightness/contrast, saturation/vibrance, temperature/tint, sharpness, grayscale, and edge-detect for value studies.
Flexible canvas. A4/A5/Letter/Small/Large or custom sizes; metric (mm) or imperial (in); portrait/landscape.
Made for print workflows. What you see is what you print.
