- (beta) Private classes: teachers can set up a class for each student, book lessons, record a recap, and keep track of lesson packs. - Your practice list now runs by the month. See how the month is going at a glance, then review it at month end and share a recap card. - Discover is easier to browse: Home shows what's new in your style, and you can filter topics to moves, styling or drills. - Every move has its own page, with all its takes and the full tutorial it came from.

- Find moves faster in Discover: filter by style and level, browse topics, and save just the moves you want. - Save a loop of the part you're learning and fine-tune it frame by frame. It's one tap away next time. - Your practice list now shows your next move and the last 7 and 30 days of practice. Notes, takes and saved loops all count. - Swipe up and down to move through a collection's moves. Short clips now repeat on their own. - Crop a take after you record it, plus a simpler first run and lots of fixes.

Cheat sheet: a swipeable deck of your moves, notes and practice loops for a quick look between songs at a social. Share an Instagram story straight into Dance Journal. If a link can’t be imported, the app now tells you why. Trimming is faster. Save a clip and it opens right away. A new “Mine” filter in Library shows only the clips you added yourself. Partners in a shared collection now see each other’s practice takes reliably, and clips open faster.

• Your practice list: every move you're learning now lives in one place, and Today picks a few from it each day. Add a move straight from Home with +. • Practice reminders: pick a time and we'll remind you to practice. An evening check-in helps keep your streak going, and one missed day won't break it. • Takes stay with their move: recordings in a collection stack onto the move they're for, and you can tidy up today's takes when you finish practicing. • A new Discover: pick a style, filter by format and level, and browse Collections or Clips. • Save from Instagram faster: share a reel straight to Dance Journal from Instagram's share sheet. • Fixed cloud clips that sometimes showed a grey box instead of the video.

- A simpler Compare: line up two videos with Align, change speed at a glance, loop and mirror. - Cut one video into several clips in one go. - Pick exactly which moves you practice today. - Onboarding asks your level and starts you with matching moves. - Smoother, more precise video playback, and a Journal of your practice recordings on Home.

- Daily practice is simpler: one “Today” list on Home, and when you finish a move you just say how it went — Learning, Polishing or Got it. Your streak counts the days you finish the list. - Star any move to add it to your daily practice, even if it isn’t in a collection. - Tap the video to play or pause, in a single clip and in Compare. - Import videos stored only in iCloud, and trim gallery imports in the background while you keep going. - New to the app? You now start with a starter collection matched to your style, plus quick tips along the way. Plus many fixes for playback, downloads and thumbnails.
