GlucoPlot: Glucose & Food Log
Glycemic Index & Carb Counter
Free · In‑App Purchases
Snap your meal. Spot the pattern.
GlucoPlot connects what you eat to how you sleep, move, and feel — and finds the patterns you'd never spot on your own.
No sensor required.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Snap a photo — AI identifies the food and estimates calories, carbs, protein, fat, and fiber in seconds
2. Every meal gets an estimated glucose response, built from the glycemic index of what's actually on your plate
3. Over days and weeks, GlucoPlot connects your meals to your sleep, your workouts, and your energy — and tells you what it found
WHY PATTERNS, NOT ALERTS
A single meal tells you almost nothing. The same pasta lands differently after a bad night's sleep than after a long walk.
GlucoPlot is built to find those relationships across time — the part most food apps skip.
LOG MEALS YOUR WAY
• Photo scan — point, shoot, done
• Voice — just describe what you ate
• Text, barcode, receipt scan, and quick adds
• 700+ ingredients with USDA nutrition data
AI COACHING
• Weekly reports that surface your real patterns
• A daily tip based on what you actually ate
• Nutrition chat coach for instant answers
• Personalized meal plans and recipe ideas
• AI-generated workout plans
WEARING A SENSOR?
Your readings can flow in through Apple Health — if your sensor's app shares there. Note that sensor apps write to Apple Health on a delay of up to 2–3 hours, so your curves fill in after the fact rather than live. That timing is set by your sensor's app, not by GlucoPlot. Either way, the patterns are the point.
COMPLETE PICTURE
• Estimated glucose response for every meal
• Glucose trends and daily patterns
• Water, sleep, and activity tracking
• Workout tracker with 110+ exercises
• Correlation insights across food, sleep, movement, and glucose

Scan a restaurant menu
With Standard, take a photo of a menu (up to 4 pages) and GlucoPlot lists the dishes with rough estimates, the ones with the smallest estimated glucose spike first. Tap "I ordered this" to log one. Scanned menus are saved so you can open them again.
Import recipes
Paste a link, scan a recipe card or cookbook page, or share a recipe page to GlucoPlot from your browser. Many recipe sites import free, with no AI used.
One quick question after a meal photo
When something like cooking oil or a dressing would change the numbers, GlucoPlot may ask once. You answer with one tap, and you can skip it.
Day tags
Tag a day in one tap (alcohol, late caffeine, late dinner, stressful day, unwell, travel) and see how those days compare in your own data.
Still working out?
If a workout has been left running, GlucoPlot asks whether to finish it at your last set.
Also
- Your workout templates sit higher up on Move.
- A clearer agreement step for our Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Bug fixes and small improvements.

Smoother logging, and the app keeps up with the day.
• Meal logging connects more reliably on mobile data — no more "Unable to connect" on tap after tap.
• The whole Log Meal button responds to a tap, not just its label.
• Left the app open overnight? Meals, Plan, Water, Sleep and Glucose now move on to the new day by themselves, so this morning's breakfast lands on today.
• Logging sleep by hand works across midnight and opens on last night.
• Closing a finished receipt scan asks before discarding it.
• Small fixes for weeks that start on Monday and for daylight-saving mornings.
2.10.7 Oct 8
Bug fixes
• Meals you log in the morning now land on the right day. If the app had been open since the day before, a new meal could be saved under yesterday.
• Photos analyzed in the background keep the time you took them.
• Closing a finished photo analysis now asks before discarding the meal.
2.10.6 Oct 7
• Small fixes and improvements.

What's New
• Cook mode. Tap "Start cooking" on any recipe for one step at a time in big, easy-to-read type, with your screen kept awake. Swipe between steps, start a timer right from a step that says "simmer 12 minutes", and keep your ingredients one tap away.
• A two-page food diary on iPad. Your day's meals on the left, the meal you pick on the right. Swipe the page to move between meals.
• Ask your coach about a meal in one tap. The coach answers straight away. No typing needed.
• Patterns in your readings. If a sensor app shares readings with Apple Health, the Glucose screen can point out up to two patterns under the day's curve, like an overnight dip or the meal type that rises most across your week.
• Smoother subscribing. After you subscribe, you get a clear confirmation that you're on Standard and what's unlocked.
• Simpler Reports, more consistent wording, and lots of small fixes and cleanup.
2.10.4 Oct 2
• Slow breathing: a paced 4-6 rhythm, sessions up to 15 minutes, and a calm alternative when Reduce Motion is on.
• Your sensor days: wore a glucose sensor for a week or two? The Glucose tab now keeps what it measured, meal by meal, dated.
• "Last time you ate this" now finds a meal by name, so a meal you measured before shows its past rise.
• Mornings open with last night's sleep.
• Notifications: quiet hours, a daily limit, and a switch for every kind.
• A clearer sleep score that learns your usual bedtime and wake-up time.
• Fixes and small improvements.

Delete my data, for real
Settings → Delete my data used to tell you to uninstall the app. It now removes what you logged from this iPhone — meals and photos, glucose, sleep, workouts, weight, water, notes and coach chats — offers an export first, and asks twice.
"Did you eat?" can actually appear
Readings arrive hours after the meal, so the card only ever looked at the last 90 minutes. It now looks back 4 hours and asks about the time the rise started.
Meals
• Re-logging from a past day logs on that day.
• Adding an item no longer resets the confirmation screen.
• Describing a meal in words uses the text limit, not the voice one.
• Starting from "Logging Breakfast" stays breakfast.
• Leaving an unsaved result asks first, and deleting a meal asks too.
2.10.1 Sep 24
A big update — here's what's new.
COACH THAT SPEAKS FIRST
The Coach tab opens with a short brief: what it noticed in your week, why it matters, and one step to try. Pick one focus a week, tell the coach your goals and routine, and chat with it — it remembers the conversation. Today's brief is free.
VITAMINS & MINERALS
Meals you log now show fiber, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron and more, with a Nutrients tile on the dashboard. Scanned labels and barcodes carry theirs too.
MOVE
A new home for workouts and activity: one suggested session, a one-step Quick Workout, and a logger that carries your planned reps. See how you moved after your meals.
SLEEP
Opens on last night — time asleep, the shape of the night, and how it compares with your usual. One simple GlucoPlot sleep score for comparing your nights with each other.
FASTING & BREATHE
Fasting shows your overnight gap from the meals you already log, with no timer to start. Breathe begins in one tap, with gentle haptics and the screen kept awake.
EASIER LOGGING
Quick Add now leads the Log a meal sheet. Logging by voice has a clear Speak button — your words appear as text so you can fix them before sending, and speaking adds to what you've typed.
MORE ACCURATE NUMBERS
Recipe calories were recalculated across the whole collection. Meat, poultry and fish now have cooked values for logging and raw values for recipes, and more ingredients carry micronutrients.
ALSO
A calmer dashboard, a tidier Reports screen, friendlier wording throughout, and many fixes.
For general wellness, not medical advice.

LOG A WHOLE SITTING AS ONE MEAL
A coffee, a donut and a wrap used to force a choice: one blurry photo of everything, or three separate meals. Now you can photograph them one at a time. After the first result, tap "Add another item" — the new photo is analysed and joins the meal you're already looking at. Totals add up, the
ingredient list grows, and the meal renames itself once it's more than one thing. If you only ever take one photo, nothing changes.
AN HONEST ANSWER ABOUT SHARED SPIKES
Your sensor records one glucose curve, not one per meal. So when you logged that coffee, donut and wrap minutes apart, all three cards showed the same
rise — and each one claimed it. The number was always right; the attribution wasn't.
Meals eaten together now read "Combined spike" and say how many meals the curve covers. A meal logged within two hours is noted as overlapping. Eating several things at once is normal — this is the app being straight with you about what it can and can't tell apart.
WORKOUTS
• Start a past workout again from the workout itself, instead of backing out to the list
• Tap a completed set again to un-tick it — your weight and reps stay, and the rest timer stops
• Low Cable Fly joins the Push Day template
2.9.11 Sep 19
A navigation that fits your screen
GlucoPlot now uses Apple's own tab bar, with Log Meal in the centre. On iPad — and on the unfolded screen of a foldable iPhone — the same navigation becomes a sidebar, and screens read in a comfortable column instead of stretching edge to edge.
A calmer wait for your glucose response
After you log a meal, the dashboard now shows the shape that meal is expected to make, and one line telling you your sensor's own readings replace it when they arrive. No more countdown to a time the readings couldn't meet.
We tell you when a meal couldn't be captured
If your sensor shared nothing in the two hours after a meal, the dashboard says so instead of quietly dropping it.
Also in this release
• A Today widget with your day at a glance
• Asking Siri to log water now actually logs it — once, even with two windows open on iPad
• Each window remembers the tab you left it on
• Save, Cancel and Done buttons now sit where the system expects them
• Onboarding and forms fit landscape and larger text properly
2.9.9 Sep 15
Polish and fixes throughout.
• Saving a workout or a glucose reading now confirms and returns you, so nothing gets logged twice
• Editing a workout updates its calorie estimate instead of keeping the old one
• Clearer wording about when a post-meal reading will appear
• The Meals tab has a redesigned empty state instead of a blank one
• Over-target calories and macros are now called out, calmly
• One consistent unit for body weight across the app
• More VoiceOver labels and larger tap targets throughout
• The 1-hour and 2-hour post-meal reminders are gone — they arrived before there was anything to say, and the response card fills in on its own
2.9.7 Aug 29
Back up your data, and get it back.
• Backup & Restore — keep a copy of your meals, workouts, recipes and history in iCloud Drive or anywhere you like, and restore it after a reinstall. Optional automatic iCloud backup keeps one copy fresh in the background.
• The dashboard no longer looks like it ends halfway. Cards below the fold render properly instead of appearing blank.
• Workouts from Apple Health import on their own again. If you record with a watch, your sessions show up without you going looking for them.
• A workout you delete stays deleted — and if you clear your history by mistake, "Import from Apple Health again" brings it back.
• Imported workouts show the calories your device actually measured. We no longer fill in a number when your watch didn't record one.
• More accurate calorie estimates for workouts you log yourself — they now account for your body weight.
• The barbell weight field works again: type a weight straight in, or use the plate calculator and have it actually save.
2.9.5 Aug 18
Spot your patterns — no sensor needed. The Coach tab now discovers what holds true for you: late dinners vs your sleep, short nights vs next-day eating, your most consistent meals, and more — all computed on your device as your logging builds up. Plus bug fixes: serving-size edits handle unusual units safely, daily totals stay accurate after edits, and your daily tip appears the moment it's ready.
2.9.4 Aug 16
Logging a workout is now two taps. Your most-logged activities appear as one-tap chips, with quick picks for when and how long — and there's a new "Log a workout" shortcut right on the + button.
Your coach can now see your whole day. Ask what to eat after a workout, or how your week went, and the answer draws on your own meals, movement, and sleep.
Also in this update:
• The Workouts screen brings logging, history, today's activity, and your shoes together in one place
• Dark mode follows your phone's setting
• The response curve on your dashboard is easier to read at a glance
2.9.2 Aug 15
Save the meals you eat often — tap the star and they stay in a new Saved tab.
Log one again and it tells you what that food did to you last time you measured it, with the date.
Plus: pick the day when entering steps, distances follow your units, and shoes are in your data export.
2.9.1 Aug 13
• Add the shoes you train in and let your workouts count toward them
• Estimated meals now explain what shaped the result
• Meal responses hold up when your sensor shares late
• Better estimates for high-fibre meals
• Stability and accuracy fixes
2.9.0 Aug 11
Fixes and improvements to meal logging.
• Nutrition totals are now accurate across all logging methods — protein, carbs and fat are recorded correctly for photo, manual and edited meals
• Improved per-ingredient calorie accuracy when quantities aren't in grams
• Behind-the-scenes reliability improvements
2.8.14 Aug 8
Theme fixes
2.8.10 Jul 26
Now works on iOS 18 and later
GlucoPlot previously required iOS 26. If your iPhone couldn't run it before, it can now.
Faster meal photos
Photo analysis is quicker and uses far less data — helpful on cellular.
Free text meal logging
Describe a meal in words and log it free, 5 times a day.
Pro raises that to 15. Meal logging now opens on the text tab,
with the mic right there if you'd rather speak.
Low Data Mode respected
If you've turned on Low Data Mode, we'll ask before uploading a photo instead of quietly using your allowance.
Also: voice logging now tells you straight away when you're offline rather than after recording.
2.8.9 Jul 22
Pick up right where you left off.
If a workout gets interrupted, it now shows up in your Recent list with a live indicator — tap to resume from exactly where you stopped, with everything you'd already logged intact.
This update also brings:
• Larger, more readable text everywhere — the app now scales with your iPhone's text-size setting
• A cleaner, more consistent look across every theme and in Dark Mode
• Faster, smoother meal photos
• Lots of polish and reliability fixes across meals, recipes, glucose, and workouts
2.8.8 Jul 19
• The upgrade screen now shows every plan side by side, with your current plan marked, so you can see where you stand at a glance.
• Pro subscribers can switch between monthly and yearly right from the upgrade screen.
• If you've bought Plus, the app keeps it unlocked for you, including after a reinstall.
• Smaller fixes and polish.
