Truth: “The Battery App Apple should've built.”

As seen on developer’s website, the quote below couldn’t be more true. It’s genuinely surprising how many SWE hours Apple invests into building out “fad features” like personal emojis and similar edits targeted at social media trends. The majority of major tech companies creating the trends they’re following typically use Macs over their own in house hardware, yet they can’t put minimal effort into edits that actually benefit that user base. Regardless, I’m grateful that an app like Juicy exists to fill in one of the gaps. Props to the entire dev team!

This app is incredible it shows you everything you need to know including personalized notifications to remind you of charge at any percentage. While it is incredibly useful it would be so cool if there were widgets so I could see the charge on my desktop, and maybe a menubar item to show the time remaining on battery.Otherwise though its very lightweight and easy to use and so far the best iCloud battery tracker I’ve ever found.

I wish I knew about this app when I bought the M4 Mac Pro. I have been frustrated at the initial battery life especially when using Teams; the battery remaining quickly dropped to 10% and would charge too quickly to 90% and 100%. Use the USB-C ports to slow the charging, and get Juicy!

The product is really good and I’m satisfied with my purchase. However, I noticed there’s no Chinese language option available. Could you please add Chinese language support?
Developer Response
Hi there! Great news :) Chinese language support is coming with the next update that should be live in 2 days! Thanks for using Juicy.
Find out if your charger is keeping up.
PLUGGED IN, STILL DRAINING
macOS says "charging" even when a weak charger can't keep up. Juicy now tells you the truth, "Plugged in, draining", with how long you have left. Power Flow shows your charger, cable and Mac as a chain, so you can see which one holds you back. Your chargers live in Settings > Battery.
A SHARPER BATTERY CHART
Zoom into the last 6 or 12 hours, and spot the stretches where your Mac was plugged in but draining: they show up in amber.
LIVE OR LAST SEEN
Juicy now shows which device readings are live and which are from when a device was last seen, like a locked iPhone. Hover the devices list to refresh it right away.
FIXES
"Paused" instead of a wrong time left while your Mac holds at its limit. A blank menu bar icon on some external displays. Renamed AirPods, and battery for Sony, Bose and other headphones.
