Fake It – Guess the Imposter is a social party game designed for groups who enjoy guessing, bluffing, and reading each other. The entire game is played on a single phone, which makes it perfect for house parties, trips, or any moment when friends are together and want something simple but engaging. At the beginning of every round, the game shows a secret word. Every player sees this word except one. That person becomes the Imposter. Their role is to pretend that they know the word and to avoid being discovered. Even though they have no information, they must stay calm, speak with confidence, and try to blend in with the group. The other players know the word, but they also have a challenge. They must give clues that are helpful, but not too obvious. If they reveal too much, the Imposter will easily guess the word and imitate the group. If they say too little, they themselves may look suspicious. Each clue changes the atmosphere of the round and makes players rethink their decisions. After everyone gives their clue, the group discusses what they heard. Players try to understand who sounded confused, who hesitated, and who might be pretending. When the discussion ends, each player votes for the person they believe is the Imposter. If the group correctly identifies the Imposter, the players win the round. If they choose an innocent player, the Imposter wins instead. This creates a dynamic where both sides must constantly observe, think, and adapt. The game includes multiple category packs such as Party, Spicy, Animals, Sport, Food, Body, Nature, Famous People, Technology, and Games. Each category has a different style of words, which changes the tone of the clues and the strategies players use. Fake It – Guess the Imposter is easy to learn, requires no preparation, and always leads to surprising moments. It works equally well for small groups or bigger gatherings. The more you play, the more creative your clues become, and the better you become at hiding the truth.
