The biggest update since launch. RINGTONE MAKER Turn any song, voice note or video into an iPhone ringtone. Slide a 30-second window to the part you want, add a fade in and a fade out, and preview it on repeat. Because iOS only lets GarageBand install ringtones, we built a step-by-step guide that walks you through it — including the one setting everybody misses that quietly cuts your ringtone short. AUDIO EDITOR Trim a clip down to exactly the part you want, then compress it to a fraction of its original size. Mono and a lower bitrate are one tap away, and a live before-and-after estimate shows what you save before you export. SIX OUTPUT FORMATS MP3 joins M4A, WAV, AIFF and CAF, plus M4R so you can turn any clip into an iPhone ringtone. Choose a bitrate up to 320 kbps. CONVERT AUDIO, NOT JUST VIDEO Audio files are now valid input, so you can move a recording from one format to another without leaving the app. BRING FILES IN FROM ANYWHERE Import straight from Photos, open a file with Converter+ from the Files app, or share one to Converter+ from any app. A notification brings you back the moment it is ready. A TAB FOR EACH JOB Convert and Editor now have their own tabs, so the only controls on screen are the ones you need. ALSO IN THIS VERSION Rebuilt onboarding so you reach your first conversion faster, clearer errors when a file cannot be read, and a faster library.
