Check the UV where you're going, not just where you are. Save the places you care about — home, the beach house, a trip — and switch between them in a tap. TanLine shows UV and forecasts for the place you choose, with the chart in that place's local time. Tap Current Location to go back to GPS. Ask Siri when it's safe to be in the sun, what the UV will be later, or to start a sun session. Also: a place you pick is no longer overridden by your GPS position, plus bug fixes and translation improvements.

- iOS 27 support - Scan a label instead of typing it out. - Adding a sunscreen or other sun protection product? Tap the scan icon next to Ingredients to capture the list straight off the bottle with your camera. - Everyday products can now remind you daily at a time you choose, and long-pressing a reminder notification lets you log "Reapply Now" without opening the app. Also: bug fixes and translation improvements.

See your UV and SPF status without opening the app. Ask Siri or check Spotlight and Shortcuts — you'll now see a visual card with your current UV and SPF status, or today's peak, plus a one-tap button to log a reapplication or start protection, right alongside the spoken answer. Also fixed: translations and bug fixes.

Your sunscreen, tracked properly. YOUR SUN PROTECTION SHELF Keep a list of the sunscreens and sun protection products you actually own — a photo, the brand, the type, the ingredients off the label, and what you use each one for. Rate them, mark your favourites, and find them again next summer. A FORECAST IN YOUR OWN BURN TIME The Forecast tab is rebuilt. Every day now reads "UV 7 · Sunburn in ~16 min" instead of a generic weather row. There's a week-at-a-glance summary, a heat map of exactly which hours need protection, and tappable safe windows that send a day and time straight to your activity planner. EVERYTHING IN SYNC Your profile, SPF history, planned activities and products now sync across your devices through your own iCloud. A new sync status screen in Settings tells you plainly whether your data is backed up. DO IT WITHOUT OPENING THE APP Three new Siri Shortcuts — Start SPF Protection, Check SPF Status, and Check Today's Max UV — plus two Control Center controls for logging a reapplication or jumping straight to your UV check. ALSO • Helpful tips now point out easy-to-miss features • Widgets keep showing the last known UV when data is a few hours old, instead of hiding it • The Lock Screen reapplication countdown now ticks continuously instead of freezing • Fixed the SPF card reading "Now remaining" after protection had expired, and several translation gaps

Faster access, smarter widgets. DO IT FROM YOUR LOCK SCREEN Two new Control Center controls: log a sunscreen reapplication or jump straight to your UV check, without opening the app. NEW SIRI SHORTCUTS Ask Siri to start SPF protection, check your SPF status, or check today's max UV. SMARTER WIDGETS Widgets keep showing your last known UV reading (with a small clock marker) instead of hiding it — only switching to "Data Stale" once it's genuinely out of date. Plus: the Live Activity refreshes more reliably in the background and shows how fresh its data is, the SPF reapplication countdown no longer freezes, and several translation and Siri Shortcut naming fixes.
