Before updating: please quit Xcode and Safari. The Xcode “Format JSON” command and the Safari extension keep the app in use, which can stop the update from finishing.
What's new in 1.13.0
• Now in 12 languages: English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Italian. The app follows your Mac's language; you can pick a different one in System Settings › General › Language & Region › Applications.
• Copy from Pretty view: right-click any row to use the same Copy menu as in Diagram.
• Windows are now named after their JSON source, so it's easier to find the right one.
• The launcher stays open after you choose a tool.
• JSON Diff: smoother scrolling in both editors, and rows keep their indentation when clicked.
• Diagram: toolbar buttons stay on the right.
1.13.0 Oct 15
• Compare JSON, rebuilt: changes are matched by structure, unchanged sections fold away, and you can jump between changes, browse them by path, ignore what you don't care about, and export the result.
• Smarter editor: line numbers, syntax errors highlighted right where they occur, warnings for trailing commas and duplicate keys, plus an optional Strict mode.
• Open JSON files from Finder, File > Open, or drag and drop.
• Diagram: cards size to their content, full values appear on hover, and connections highlight as you move over a card.
• Right-click any row in Pretty or Diagram view to copy its value, key, key & value, or path.
• Windows are named after their file or URL, so you can find them in the Dock and Window menus.
• Faster with large JSON, plus many fixes and refinements.

• Choose Smart matching, Sequence matching, or Match by index.

• Pasted text now keeps the editor’s clean monospaced style.
• Improved reliability when comparing JSON value types and numeric values.
1.10.0 Sep 20
• NEW: Key order in the Pretty view — keep the original order from your JSON, or sort A→Z or Z→A.
• Original order is now the default, so the tree matches your input instead of always sorting alphabetically.
• Copy gives you exactly what you see: same key order, your indent setting, and copying a single value now works.
• Typing a quote stays a straight quote — macOS smart quotes can no longer break the JSON you are editing.
• JSON pasted with curly quotes from Notes, Word or Slack now formats instead of failing.
• Parse errors are easier to read.
1.9.0 Aug 14
