This update significantly enhances the app’s overall usability and delivers a more polished, fully app-like experience. A bookmark (favorites) feature has been introduced, allowing users to save preferred places for quick access. Saved locations are available in the dedicated “My Favorites” view and are also clearly highlighted within the Map view. The app now includes opening hours visibility, showing whether a place is currently open or closed, along with “closing soon” alerts to help users better plan their visits. The application continues to operate fully offline, requiring no internet connection for core functionality—ideal for travelers. Location-aware functionality has been added to enhance contextual relevance. Users can now see distance indicators, benefit from location-based sorting, and receive clear guidance if location access is unavailable. The app presents curated local content across multiple categories, including sights, restaurants, cafés, bars, transport, shops, and emergency services. Each location includes detailed information, with options to save favorites, view maps, access directions, and contact details. Comprehensive information has been added for all listed sights, restaurants, and bars, including their operating hours and “closing soon” notifications. The user interface has been refined for both iPhone and iPad, featuring consistent navigation, meaningful empty states, and clear visual indicators such as distance badges and saved-place markers. All location usage is optional, transparent, and clearly explained to users. Overall, these improvements provide practical value for both travelers and locals, enabling them to discover nearby places, plan visits efficiently, and access essential local information through a streamlined, mobile-optimized experience.
