WHAT IT CHECKS • DNS — A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS records via DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH), plus resolver and DNSSEC status. • TLS / HTTPS — protocol support, cipher suite, certificate chain, expiry, and trust. • HTTP — status, server, redirects, and headers. • IP & Infrastructure — resolved IPs, ASN, organization, and country, with CDN/load-balancer detection. • Security posture — an overall score with prioritized findings. TROUBLESHOOT LIKE A PRO When something breaks, DomainInspector points to the cause: DNS misconfiguration, expired or untrusted certificates, redirect loops, mixed content, missing security headers, and more — each finding comes with evidence and a suggested next step. EXPORT & SHARE Generate a clean Markdown report of any diagnosis and export it for your team, your issue tracker, or your docs. PRIVACY BY DESIGN DomainInspector runs entirely on your device. It makes only the network requests needed to perform the checks you start, and it never sends your data to us. No ads, no analytics, no third-party tracking SDKs. Optional IP-geolocation uses your own ipinfo.io token and stays on your Mac. Built for developers, SREs, and IT teams who want answers, not dashboards.
