Clearer offline verification: the brand name is shown, with no technical identifier. The app is ready for the next generation of chips. Stability fixes.

Scanning a printed QR label from the app now counts the same as scanning it from the browser. Fixes and stability improvements.

A session that expires while you are using the app now renews itself. You no longer need to close and reopen SealTrust to claim a product, transfer it or scan a tag. Sign-in reliability improvements.

Fixes and display improvements.

Product passport: every section now shows its level of proof, Verified, Attachment or Declared. You can tell at a glance what is proven from what the brand simply states. Each section folds away so you reach what matters faster. Transfer: your product list is no longer capped. Past fifty products, the rest never appeared, with no message at all, and therefore could not be transferred. CSV export: the screen now states plainly that the export covers all your products, not the filtered list shown. Several display fixes on the product page and the passport.

Every part of the passport now shows what it rests on. Three statuses: an on-chain reference anyone can re-check, an attached third-party document, or the brand's own statement. SealTrust computes them, and a brand cannot grant them to itself. Passport sections now open on tap and start closed, so you go straight to the one you need.

Security and reliability improvements. The app now lets you know when a new version is available.

The QR code printed on your product now opens in the app. • Scan the label's QR code just like you scan the NFC chip: you get the same card, with authenticity, certificate, history and the product's digital passport. • Claim a product straight from its printed QR code. • A code that is not a SealTrust code now says so plainly, instead of showing a technical error. • SealTrust links opened from a message or the camera land in the right place in the app, and go back to your browser when the app has nothing to do with them. An NFC chip remains the strongest proof: it signs differently on every read. A printed QR code identifies the product, it does not prove you are holding it. The app always shows you which of the two you have just read.

Secure transfers The recipient now has to accept a transfer before it takes effect. Until they do, the product stays yours and you can cancel. Claiming protected by a purchase code Brands can now require the code supplied with the product. Walking through a shop is no longer enough to claim a display item. The tamper seal is now shown On products with a chip that detects the packaging being opened, the verification result tells you whether the seal is intact. Blockchain proof made visible A product's passport now shows its anchor: the fingerprint written to the blockchain, its date and its public link. The guarantee already existed, now you can see it. A real user guide Six detailed articles replace the old FAQ, under Settings then Help & FAQ. Where to hold your phone when scanning, what "authentic" actually proves, how to claim and transfer. Every article ends with what to do when it doesn't work. This version requires iOS 17 or later.

This update opens up full product tracking, from purchase to resale. Returns and warranty Start a return from the app and follow its progress. The warranty is attached to the product, so there is no receipt to dig out. Buyback Receive and accept a brand's buyback offer directly in the app. Ownership transfer Hand a product over remotely. The new owner claims it by scanning, and the history follows. Richer history A product's timeline now expands to show every event without leaving the page. Clearer verification A product with no known owner and an expired code are now told apart, each with a message saying what to do next. More reliable notifications Fixed alerts not arriving on some devices. We keep fixing and improving the app. Feedback or questions: contact@sealtrust.io
