Version 3.0 introduces a powerful new Heat Map feature that enables users to visualize Enterococcus bacteria levels across all Texas coastal monitoring stations through an intuitive, interactive interface. The map uses scientifically based color coding aligned with EPA water quality standards, where green indicates safe levels below 35 CFU/100mL, yellow represents moderate risk between 35–104 CFU/100mL, and red signifies high-risk conditions exceeding 104 CFU/100mL. Users can filter data by risk category, explore historical trends, and access detailed site information to make informed decisions about coastal recreation. This update also includes performance improvements and enhanced system stability for a smoother experience.
