mSteps is a 12-track generative MIDI step sequencer that can create grooves instanty in various genres, which you can edit, make them into songs, mutate and perform live using your favourite software or hardware instruments and dum machines.

• Up to 12 patterns with adjustable genre, density and intensity
• 12 tracks per pattern: percussive or melodic
• Lock tracks while regenerating the rest
• One-off or real-time mutation with variable level and frequency
PERFORM
• Two performance views: real-time ratchet, volume, mute and 8 assignable MIDI CC controllers
• 12 assignable snapshots with morphing
• Fill, mute-all and four performance mute groups
• Song mode with 16 slots and up to 16 repeats per slot
SHAPE
• Per-step velocity, probability, offset, gate and ratchet
• Independent lane length and step size for polymetric sequences
• Mixer with per-track volume, mute and solo
• GM drum mapping and scale-aware melodic keyboard
CONNECT
• MIDI Learn for pattern trigger, scenes, fills, mutes and mutation
• AUv3 MIDI effect in Logic Pro, AUM, Cubasis, Loopy Pro and more, or standalone
COMPATIBILITY
mSteps requires an AUv3-compatible host for plugin functionality. mSteps is a MIDI-only plugin and does not generate sound on its own.
