TetraText 2.1.3 — challenge a friend to beat your score. CHALLENGES • After a run, tap Challenge me to share your score. Your friend's link opens the same board and difficulty with your score to beat, shown while they play. • At the end of their run they see whether they beat you, and can send their score back with Challenge back. • No TetraText yet? The link takes them to the App Store or Google Play first, and the challenge waits for them after their first game. IN A RUN • Tap ? on a word you can keep to read its definition. The timer still waits while the card is open, and the board is now hidden behind it until you close it, on iPhone and on iPad in either orientation. NEW PLAYERS • Your first game starts with a short note: it is a quick game to try things out, and Home, leaderboards and settings come after. TetraText 2.0.5 — the fixes from the first week of 2.0. WATCH AN AD • The WATCH AD chip on the run-over screen and the Watch button in the shop play the video on the first tap. While it loads the button reads "Loading ad…" and ignores a second tap; if no video is available you get a notice, "No ad available right now", instead of a tap that does nothing. BOMBS • A Bomb clears a 3×3 block and the tiles above fall. The words that fall creates now score the moment they form, and count as a chain: ×2 on the word card and in Longest chain on the run-over screen. They used to sit unscored until the next tile landed beside them, and then paid ×1. FIXES • The board could stop for good after a word cleared on a slow frame — tiles on the floor, nothing falling, no run over. The collapse now always finishes. • Playing again no longer keeps a hidden banner loading under the visible one on every run, so a long session stays light. • The update prompt on the launch screen waits for your answer instead of moving on to Home under it.
