Perminator is a native macOS permission scratchpad and read-only filesystem auditor. Use Scratch to build POSIX modes and copy chmod commands in seconds. When a directory gets complicated, open Audit to map its structure, surface risky or blocked paths, and explain effective access step by step.

Perminator reads metadata only from folders you choose. It never changes filesystem permissions, reads file contents, connects to a server, tracks usage, or sends telemetry.
