I had several things I needed to take care of at that Grand Blanc branch today, including help with getting to know the new banking app. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon (new in training) and Eddie (overseeing things). Both were very knowledgeable and helpful with all I needed taken care of. Kudos to Brandon for doing well on launch day, teaching other how the app works all the while learning how to do his new job!

I didn’t realize a banking app could be so clustered and over complicated. In the beginning, it asks to choose your primary account, ok cool, you would think that would be what you see when you open the account. Not a chance, got to look for it, and if you’re linked with someone like I am, it’s a riddled mess of accounts with the same titles so just a guessing game unless you have all accounts memorized. I have my primary down, but not my primary savings, so I get the joy of shifting through my kids accounts that I have created for them to make sure I’m transferring to the right account. Just a joke. Also good luck knowing where your checking account is if your like me and like to keep most money in savings. Can’t tell what the actual balance is. Whoever thought, yeah this is great, must have only used the app with one checking and one saving, cause I can’t see anyone approving this otherwise. I hope someone wises up and gets something new cause this is enough for me to take my money somewhere else.

So far the new app is well done and user friendly. I hope it remains so and also doesn’t shut down randomly and in the evening and then I can’t turn off or on my debit or transfer money. That was so annoying! Fingers crossed for a much better app experience!

Old app was terrible could barley login in have the time and loading would take hours this new one is way better loading times been bumped up forsure and sneak peek feature is cool honestly great improvement.
