Write down up to five things or memories from your day. No streaks to break, no metrics to obsess over, no data leaving your phone. Just five memories from your day.
At the end of the day, write down five things you did.
Five accomplishments, sure, if you'd like. Five wins, five small moments. Five memories. Just five things you want to remember about today. A walk. A text to your mom. A meeting you didn't dread. A note about the chapter of a book you're reading.
That's the whole app.
I Did Five is a small, quiet daily journal built around a tiny ritual: remembering five things you did today. No streaks to break. No metrics to obsess over. No badges, no scores, no "you're slipping" notifications. Just five lines, and over time, you have memories of your life written down.
— WHAT'S INSIDE —
- Five activity lines per day. Type whatever you want. Or skip a few. Nobody's counting.
- A daily reminder you can customize — set the time, pick the days, or turn it off entirely.
- Browse your past entries by week, month, year, or scroll through them on a calendar.
- Six color themes (Classic, Ocean, Sunset, Forest, Lavender, Midnight) that quietly tint the whole app, including the logo, which changes a little each day.
- iCloud sync, so your five-things journal follows you across new devices.
- Export your entries as JSON whenever you want. Your words, your file.
- Swipe between days, jump to any date.
— A NOTE ON PRIVACY —
We do not collect any data. Period. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no account to create, no email to hand over. Your entries live on your device, and — if you turn on iCloud sync — in your own private CloudKit container, which not even we can read. Uninstall the app and your local data goes with it.
That's it. Five things. Your life, five memories at a time.
