Pass information is now easier to see at a glance. The top-left pass control now displays your selected speed and rope length directly on the camera screen. When using metric, it shows the selected speed and rope length in metres. When using mph, it automatically displays the corresponding “off” value — for example 34mph / 28off.

Automatic Skier Focus SlalomCam now uses Apple’s Vision framework to automatically detect the skier and focus the camera before each pass. Once recording begins, focus is held steady to help prevent spray, wake and background movement from pulling focus away from the skier. No tapping, selecting or manual focusing required — mount your iPhone, set up your pass and let SlalomCam take care of the camera. This update also includes performance and reliability improvements.

Backend improvements

SlalomCam 2.0 adds a new manual video overlay feature. You can now select the skier’s requested Zero Off speed and line length, then burn that pass information into the exported video. This overlay is manual pass information only and is not linked to GPS or measured boat speed.
