Different rodent species respond to different frequency ranges, which is why the app includes scientifically calibrated presets for thirteen common rodent species including house mice, Norway rats, black rats, field mice, deer mice, voles, squirrels, chipmunks, prairie dogs, beavers, porcupines, hamsters, and gerbils. Each preset targets the optimal frequency range for that specific species, with frequencies ranging from eighteen thousand to seventy thousand Hertz using pure sine wave generation.
The free version allows you to test the app's effectiveness with three play sessions per day and fifteen minutes of total usage time, with access to frequencies up to twenty thousand Hertz suitable for squirrels and basic rodent deterrence. The timer mode lets you set specific durations of fifteen or thirty minutes, perfect for targeted use during peak rodent activity times.
Premium subscription unlocks unlimited play sessions and unlimited daily usage time, allowing twenty four hour protection. You gain access to the complete frequency range from one thousand to seventy thousand Hertz, unlocking all thirteen rodent species presets. Premium members can use continuous mode for unlimited runtime, sleep mode optimized for overnight use, and all timer durations including extended one and three hour sessions for maximum flexibility.
The app works entirely offline, requiring no internet connection, and continues operating when your phone is locked or you're using other apps. Lock screen controls let you manage the ultrasonic output without unlocking your device. While ultrasonic technology has shown promise in various studies, effectiveness varies based on environmental factors and rodent behavior. Results are not guaranteed and serious rodent problems require professional intervention. For best results, use this app only as an additional measure alongside professional pest management, proper sanitation, and sealing entry points.
