You can now handwrite Japanese on the Translate page, and the chips under it say what Translate is for. The word sheet shows real example sentences under each word's definitions, Library history opens faster and keeps your searches, and Converse errands give a cleaner report with a clearer slip. Scenes started from a chat phrase now build on that phrase.

Practice now offers a Kana checkpoint, Numbers gains an Errands chapter, and Converse errands open for learners at levels 3 and 4, with a clearer review that opens only the turns that need work. Your first scene starts while your translation is still arriving, and questions that mix English and Japanese now go from Translate to Ask.

Finishing a scene now celebrates and takes you straight into the next one, and Converse, Kana, Numbers, Counters and Pocket Review get the same finish. The Practice tab now shows your top cards right away and the Up next card shows the next scene's cover and opens it. Translate keeps its bar still, and Ask can check a line of Japanese you wrote or suggest asking instead of translating.

After a scene you can now say whether it was useful, which helps choose your next ones. Fixed Numbers price practice sometimes accepting a wrong reading, and its wrong answers now test the sounds that matter. Single saved words no longer appear as "How it is used" examples, and a word followed by a particle is no longer read as one word.

Your translation is now the answer: it appears first, with a short practice built right into it. Everyday words such as 箱 and 鉢 now show the readings you would actually hear. The app is also a good deal smaller to download on iPhone, and error messages are clearer.

Scenario sessions now open in the natural voice more often, and the play button shows a spinner while a line loads. Warm-ups start with the word itself before the full sentence. Clearer memory aids for several kana, and warm-ups and recaps now appear for more of your saved words.

Numbers practice now follows your Japanese level, and a level you change in Settings sticks. Fixed romaji answers being graded too strictly, some furigana readings, and a few word meanings that showed the wrong sense. Onboarding now opens with a scenario built around the phrases you picked.

Added a Numbers track for prices, times and dates, with natural-sounding readings. Kana, Numbers and Counters now work offline. Fixed words you dismissed coming back in practice, and stopped scenarios you already passed being offered again in the same session.
