Simple app for people who like to work out anagrams by themselves, without the "cheat" of a word lookup, i.e. the app does NOT supply a list of possible solution words.
When we did puzzles on paper we could solve anagrams by writing the solutions letters in a scatter pattern on the paper and working things out by ourselves. Now we do puzzles on our devices we don't typically have pen and paper to hand. This app helps with that. You enter the candidate letters, and then drag letters into boxes to try out different solutions. You can fix letters when you are sure of their positions, maybe because you have solved cross clues in a crossword, and you can then scramble the remaining letters below empty boxes. Note this app is a helper, not a solver - it doesn't provide a list of candidate solution words.
