Bring old family photos back to life. Drop in a black & white picture and see it in color in seconds, compared side by side, right on your Mac.
ColorRevivr turns your black and white photos into color. Old family pictures, historic images, scanned prints: drop them in and watch them come back to life.
TWO COLORIZATION MODELS, SIDE BY SIDE
ColorRevivr includes two AI colorization models, DDColor and DeOldify. Each one has its own style. Turn on one or both and compare the results next to your original, then save the version you like best.
SIMPLE TO USE
• Drag an image into the window, or click Open…
• Colorizing starts right away
• Save any result as a PNG with one click
FINE-TUNE THE RESULT
• Black & White Balance evens out the tones of faded or uneven photos before they are colorized
• Sharpen makes the colorized image crisper
COLORIZE STRAIGHT FROM FINDER
• Use the "Colorize with ColorRevivr" Quick Action on one or more selected images
• Or drop images on the Dock icon, or use Open With
ColorRevivr works quietly in the background and lets you know when it's done. Results are saved next to the originals, in folders you allow, or in your output folder.
HOT FOLDER FOR BATCH WORK
Have a whole box of scans? Choose an input folder and turn on Hot Folder. Every image you put in it is colorized automatically and saved to your output folder. Afterwards, the original is deleted or moved to a folder you choose. You set the file name suffix too, for example "Photo-color-DDColor.jpg". The toolbar shows the progress, and the Log window lists exactly what happened to each file.
SHORTCUTS AND SIRI
Automate your workflow with Shortcuts actions:
• Colorize images and get the results back
• Add images to the hot folder
• Turn the hot folder on or off
• Get the hot folder status, its folders, or the log
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All colorization runs on your Mac using Apple's Core ML. Your photos are never uploaded.
Colorization is an AI estimate of the original colors, not a record of them. Results can differ per photo and per model, which is why ColorRevivr lets you compare them.
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Basic colorizer - no adjustments
IamCyrus
If your B&W is well balanced the results are OK, but making those tweaks outside of the app and going back in to colorize is a pain. If I could have tested before I would not have purchased it.
