more I was looking for an app that would approximate my biological age à la Whoop, without the price tag, and this app does just that. It seems like the team is just a solo dev, so thanks for developing a good app and releasing it for free. My only gripe is that I wish I could interact with the AI. The templates are a good starting point, but I wish I could ask my own follow up questions. If I’m chewing up my memory to store the AI, I want to be able to use it more fully!

At the time of this review, this is a brand new app. I found it by accident, and really like it. It is simple, and does what it says. The age does not seem to be dramatically optimistic like some other more commercial apps I’ve tried. (I was actually a little depressed when I first got my number, because I guess I’ve been used to the “you look so much younger than your age“ apps. The app is new and has some growing pains for me. It repeatedly shows my age to be around 35 (i’m in my 50s) on the Apple Watch version, unless I actually have the Phone app open, in which case it will correct to my real number for a while, and then eventually revert back to 35. The recent app update says this has been fixed, but it is still a problem for me.Also, when I installed both AI engines my phone crashed repeatedly when using the app, even though I have over 100 GB of free space (on an iPhone 16). When I deleted the bigger more advanced AI model this problem went away.Anyway, these are problems of an early app, which I’m sure will resolve. This is a great app that I’m very glad is being developed.UPDATE: two months later, and I’m deleting this app. No meaningful improvements in two months, and doesn’t seem to provide much meaningful, actionable information that I can trust. Maybe I’ll download it again in a year or two and see if it’s something more useful.

1.0.15 12/08/2025
Pregnancy Support
New Setting: Pregnancy Mode
We've added specialized support for pregnant users in Settings > Medical Conditions. Pregnancy causes significant physiological changes that affect many health metrics—elevated heart rate, reduced HRV, sleep disruption, and more. Without adjustment, these normal pregnancy changes would incorrectly impact your biological age score.
How It Works:
When pregnancy mode is enabled, the app intelligently adjusts how metrics contribute to your Index:
**Reduced Emphasis** (normal pregnancy changes won't hurt your score):
• Resting Heart Rate – elevated RHR is expected
• Heart Rate Variability – reduced variability is normal
• VO₂max – relative capacity decreases with body changes
• Sleep Duration – disruption is common
• Respiratory Rate – slight increases expected
• Wrist Temperature – elevated temps normal
• Blood Pressure – highly variable during pregnancy
**Emphasized Metrics** (still meaningful during pregnancy):
• Recovery Capacity – recovery patterns remain informative
• Active Energy – activity is still valuable
• Walking Heart Rate – relative measure stays valid
• Sleep Regularity – consistency still matters
• Oxygen Saturation – stable metric
**Visual Indicators:**
• "Pregnancy-Adjusted" badge displays on your MyBioAge Index
• Settings shows which metrics are adjusted
• Can be combined with pacemaker mode if needed
Note: Your health data remains 100% private and on-device.
1.0.14 12/06/2025
Redesigned Key Metrics and Scoring Improvements
Redesigned Key Metrics Display
We've completely redesigned the Recovery and Training dashboard for clarity:
- Single Recovery Ring: A clean ring visualisation with your recovery percentage displayed in the centre along with status (Ready/Moderate/Limited)
- Training Load Zone Bar: Below the ring, see your training load ratio (e.g., '1.07x') with an intuitive zone indicator showing exactly where you fall on the spectrum
- Consistent Detail Views: Both Recovery and Strain segments now share the same card layout with icon, title, status pill badge, score, and description
Training Load Zone Colours:
- Green (0.8x - 1.2x): Optimal training balance
- Yellow (1.2x - 1.4x or 0.6x - 0.8x): Building or de-loading
- Red (above 1.4x or below 0.6x): Overreaching or under-training
Sleep Scoring Fix
Fixed a calculation bug in sleep regularity that was incorrectly penalising users with consistent sleep patterns. Good sleep consistency now properly reduces your biological age.
Improved Activity Norms
Recalibrated Active Energy norms to reflect actual population data. The previous norms were unrealistically high, causing moderately active users to score poorly. Now, 600-800 kcal/day of activity scores around the 60th-70th percentile instead of below the 10th.
Percentile Display Consistency
All metrics now display percentiles uniformly-high percentile always means good health across ALL metrics. Previously, some 'lower is better' metrics like Wrist Temp showed confusing low percentiles even when performing well. Now inverted for display clarity.
Neutral Blood Pressure Trends
Blood pressure week-over-week changes now use neutral colors instead of green/red. This reflects the reality that BP increases or decreases can be good or bad depending on your baseline-context matters.
Streamlined AI Chat Setup
Removed the separate first-time setup modal for AI Chat. New users now see a clear 'Download AI Package' button directly in the chat interface for a simpler onboarding experience.
Note: Your health data remains 100% private and on-device.
1.0.13 12/04/2025

1.0.9 11/07/2025
Bug Fix: Temperature Delta Conversion
Critical Temperature Conversion Fix
Fixed a bug that caused wrist temperature week-over-week changes to display incorrect values for Imperial unit users (showing ~32°F instead of ~0.9°F). Temperature deltas now use the correct conversion formula without the offset.
Improvements:
• Accurate temperature deltas in Weekly Digest
• Corrected chart Y-axis scales for Imperial users
• Fixed baseline range displays
• Updated sparkline charts with proper conversions
• Dynamic unit display in metric descriptions
Impact: Imperial users will now see accurate temperature values throughout the app, with correct conversions in all charts and week-over-week comparisons.
Note: Your health data remains 100% private and on-device.
1.0.8 11/06/2025
Weekly Digest Enhancement & Version Management
Pace of Aging in Weekly Digest

Improved Version Management
Version and build numbers now follow proper iOS conventions with no hardcoding—all version information is dynamically read from Bundle at runtime for cleaner, more maintainable code.
Note: Your health data remains 100% private and on-device.
1.0.7 11/05/2025
UI & Accuracy Polish
Critical Orientation Fixes
Fixed critical scoring bugs where several metrics were treated with incorrect orientation:
- Blood Pressure: Now correctly scored as "lower is better" (lower BP de-ages you)
- Sleep Regularity: Now correctly scored as "higher is better" (higher SRI de-ages you)
- Strain vs Recovery: Now correctly scored as "higher is better" (better balance de-ages you)
These fixes can improve your Index by 0.5-0.7 years if you have healthy values for these metrics. The app now automatically detects orientation logic updates and recalculates all metrics on first launch after the update—no manual re-sync needed.
Percentile Display Consistency
All percentiles are now displayed consistently so high percentile always means good performance, regardless of whether the underlying metric is "higher is better" or "lower is better":
- Before: Resting HR at p11 (excellent low HR, but looked bad)
- After: Resting HR at p89 (clearly shows top 11% performance)
This applies to Resting HR, Walking HR, Blood Pressure Systolic, and Blood Pressure Diastolic. Now you can easily compare performance across all metrics using a consistent scale where high percentile = good health.
Automatic Migration System
Added an orientation version tracking system that automatically detects when metric scoring logic changes and triggers a full recalculation. When you update to this version, the app will:
1. Detect the orientation logic update
2. Clear cached calculations
3. Recalculate all metrics with the correct orientation
4. Update your Index automatically
No manual intervention required—just update and launch the app.
Per-Metric Confidence Display
The Confidence Report now shows accurate confidence percentages for all metrics, including Blood Pressure. Previously, BP showed 100% confidence even with limited data; it now correctly displays the actual confidence (e.g., 35% with only 2 samples). This transparency helps you understand data quality at a glance.
Version & Build Information
The Confidence Report modal now displays the app version and build number at the top (e.g., "Version 1.0.6 (Build 1)"), making it easier to reference when troubleshooting or providing feedback.
Advanced Metric Icon
Blood Pressure metrics now display a red heart icon text badge in the Contributing Metrics list, providing a cleaner, more consistent visual experience that matches the Advanced Precision badge styling.
Readiness Report Enhancement
The Readiness Report now tracks Blood Pressure status, showing whether you're actively monitoring BP and how many recent readings you have. BP is treated as an optional advanced metric with 0% weight in readiness calculations, so it doesn't affect your overall readiness score.
Impact: These refinements ensure more accurate biological age estimates for BP users, intuitive percentile interpretation across all metrics, better transparency around data quality, and a more polished user experience. The BP orientation fix may improve your Index by 0.1-0.3 years if you have lower-than-average blood pressure.
Note: Your health data remains 100% private and on-device.
1.0.6 11/04/2025
Scientific Rebalancing and Recovery Enhancement
Unified Recovery Capacity
We introduced a single Recovery Capacity metric that avoids redundant counting while giving a complete cardiovascular recovery view. It combines five signals: immediate post-exercise recovery, extended recovery patterns, overnight heart rate recovery, HRV trends, and recovery consistency. Result: more accurate biological age estimates without triple-counting overlapping data.
Scientifically Rebalanced Weights
Your MyBioAge Index now places more weight on proven predictors like VO2max, Sleep, and Resting HR, and less on weaker signals. Each metric includes an evidence strength note so your biological age emphasizes the most reliable indicators.
Enhanced Blood Pressure Precision
Blood pressure tracking now contributes with higher accuracy. When you track BP with an external monitor, Advanced Precision mode turns on automatically with 14-week smoothed trends for stable estimates. BP metrics are detected even when you are just starting to track them, so metric counts are correct.
Pace of Aging
See how fast you are aging relative to calendar time with Pace of Aging. View 4-week comparisons and 14-week rolling averages with color coding: green “less than 1.00x”, amber “1.00 to 1.05x”, red “greater than 1.05x”. This helps you understand your long-term trajectory.
Pacemaker Support
New medical setting for pacemaker users. The app excludes fixed HRV values and redistributes weight to other cardiovascular metrics so biological age stays accurate.
Monday Morning Updates
Weekly digest notifications now arrive Monday at 9:00 AM, covering complete Mon-Sun trends. Start the week with fresh insights into your biological age changes.
Enhanced Data Quality
All metrics now use confidence-based scoring with no fallback values. Missing data reduces confidence instead of using neutral placeholders, giving a truer view of data quality.
Improved Debugging Tools
The confidence debug report now shows the impact of all metrics on your Index (not just the top 5), sorted by magnitude. BP metrics without enough data are clearly marked as “MISSING FROM INDEX” in Contributing Metrics and shown with a circle for insufficient data in All Metrics Impact. This provides full transparency into how each metric affects biological age, including metrics that are being tracked but not yet contributing.
Privacy
Your health data remains 100% private and on device.
1.0.5 11/03/2025
Added Metric AND Imperial measurement systems - On the next time you open the app, it will now try to recognise your preferred system based on your device region but if that doesn't match the system you want you can still go to Settings and which to the system you prefer manually.

Accuracy & Stability Improvements
• **Age Accuracy Fix**: Your MyBioAge Index now correctly reflects your current age. If you noticed the comparison showing the wrong age (e.g., "vs 35" when you're older), this has been fixed and your index will automatically recalculate.
• **Improved Stability**: Fixed an issue that could cause the app to crash during background health data syncs.
