As others have noted: no settings … anywhere. It can’t save as docx. Maybe they’ll fix these things. I get that this is a beta and we are its testers, that’s why it’s free. But it’s not good enough.

Immediate issues present on my MacBook Pro M5 Pro:* Unable to save as anything other than ODT format - there is no “File Type” option in the Save As dialog. I have to export documents to the desired format.* The tabbed view is robust until you close a document and reopen it, at which point the tabs are somehow all collapsed into dropdown options instead of being readily available.* The settings option is grayed out meaning there is no way to adjust the settings for anything - I’d like to set it to default to saving as DOCX files due to work requirements, but I am unable to do so because there is no access to settings.I really wanted this to be a good experience, but it’s kind of a mess right now. I hate anything online so won’t bother checking out their Online Version (which has been around longer than the desktop version).I will stick with alternatives for the time being, but if they ever do get this mess cleaned up, I’ll likely come back and check it out again.

Slow, buggy, and crashy. Inconsistent behavior with a UI that looks like it’s written for a 2012 Android tablet and designed by a first-year college student taking a design class to fulfill a course requirement.
• Table styles in Calc: create your own styles, set a default, rename and resize tables, add a totals row, remove duplicates, and summarize a table with a pivot table
• Funnel charts, and a new Statistical chart group with histogram bin settings
• Impress: a slide notes panel below the slide, a Table Design tab, and pausing an automatic slideshow with P
• Track Changes in the Calc menu and notebookbar, and comments shown in your own time zone
• All fixes and improvements from the shared codebase with Collabora Online 26.04.4, including many document compatibility fixes for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files
