• Welcome tour: New to FalconPlans? A short guided tour shows you how to plan trips with friends, check in at places you've visited, and how your Journey builds itself as you go. You can replay it anytime from Settings. • Full-screen Flaps: Flaps now open full screen. Swipe up to see the next one, swipe sideways to close, and leave a comment without leaving the video. • Pull-down sheets: Plans and check-ins opened from Discover or Flaps now appear in a sheet. Pull it down to close and you're right back where you were. • Better check-in cards: Follow travellers straight from their check-in, and tap "View check-in" to see the whole post. • Smoother scrolling, plus bug fixes and performance improvements.

• Easier date picking: tap the month to jump to any month or year, so trips next year or check-ins from years ago are just a couple of taps away. Selected dates and ranges now show clearly in the app's colours. • Simpler publishing: the publish sheet now only asks for what your trip needs (a name, a photo and a place), with friendly optional tips to make it even better. Empty days no longer stop you from publishing. • Memory videos: if a trip needs more photos, tapping the card now tells you how many to add and takes you straight to adding them. • Pull down to refresh now works every time on all trip screens, and you can see the spinner below the Dynamic Island. • Discover now refreshes from the top when you come back to it or tap the Discover tab, without losing your place. • Fixed the photo viewer on iPhone: the close button and thumbnails now always show properly. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

• Camera: switch between photo and video, record without sound, pause while recording, and take several shots in one go. You can also remove the sound from videos you pick from your library. • New full-screen viewer for photos and videos: pinch or double-tap to zoom, swipe down to close, and tap or drag the progress bar to move through a video. Videos start muted, and if you turn the sound on, it stays on next time. • Faster Discover: photos and videos load before they scroll onto the screen. Videos play as you scroll and pause as you pass them, the way other feeds do. • Double-tap to like works at a normal pace and no longer opens the post by mistake. • Flaps have a smooth progress bar you can drag. • Search results scroll and play videos just like Discover. • Check-ins on profiles show a tidier loading placeholder. • Performance and stability improvements.

What's new • Choose your cover: press and hold to reorder the photos and videos in a check-in. The first one is the cover. • Your videos show up straight away after posting, with a preview while they finish processing. • See at a glance which of your check-ins are public or private on your profile. • Smarter notifications: when people you follow post lots of check-ins while travelling, you get one summary instead of a buzz for each. • Fixed place search sometimes showing no results when location was off.

What's new in 1.13.9 Sign-in fix Some people saw the Google sign-in button keep spinning, and it stayed stuck even after restarting the app. This is fixed for Google, Apple and email sign-in. If your button was stuck, updating clears it. Trip invites Opening a trip link before accepting your invite now shows the invite, with the trip name, dates and who invited you, so you can accept or decline in one tap. A trip's plans, notes and costs stay private to the people who have joined.

Splitting trip costs just got easier. SETTLE UP WITH ANYONE • The budget is now three clear tabs: Planned, Paid and Settle up. • See at a glance what you owe and what you are owed. • Send a friend a settle-up link. They can see their share and mark it as paid without installing the app. • Friends invited to view a trip can now see the budget, record what they paid and settle their own share. • Record the day a payment was made, and edit a payment after saving it. • Pay back part of what you owe, not only the full amount, from a settle-up link. STAY IN THE LOOP • Get notified when someone adds you to a payment, changes your share, or marks a debt as paid. • A warning now appears before you change a payment on a trip where people have already settled up. CHECK-INS • Choose who can see a check-in: Everyone or Only me. • Videos are now marked clearly when you edit a check-in. PLANNING • Place search inside a trip now finds places near that trip, and labels stations, airports and other landmarks. • Add a cab as transport in your itinerary. • Viewing a trip is cleaner, with days across the top and sections along the bottom. • Invite friends by name, without email addresses on show. • Anyone invited to a trip can now leave it once they are settled up. FIXES • Deleting a stop now asks first, then deletes it. • Trip names no longer double up when you type over a suggestion. • A task's due date is easier to change. • Your profile map opens without asking for your location. • Amounts always show cents, so totals are easy to compare.
