What's new in 2.4.1: • Ready for iPhone Duo: LocApp fills the whole screen, closed or open. • On wide screens (iPhone Duo open, iPad in landscape), two panes: list and map in Nearby, a note and its comments, and more. Half-folded, nothing sits on the fold. • Note photos fill the full width on wide screens. • System permission prompts are now translated into all of the app's languages. • New message: the send button now sits next to the title. Ideas or issues? Let us know.

What's new in 2.4.0: • A new launch screen: the LocApp pin inside your radius, with a short animation. • A new design that feels at home on your phone: solid backgrounds and system fonts, icons, menus and alerts. • Settings are now a clean, grouped list. • The app's dark mode now covers the bottom bar, menus and alerts too. • More contrast and bigger, easier-to-tap buttons. • Fixed: the top of the main screen no longer slips under the status bar. Ideas or issues? Let us know.

What's new in 2.3.2: • Fixed: posting a note no longer shows an error when the note was actually posted. • Fixed: your streak reminder is restored when you open the app after restarting your phone. • Fixed: if you turn on notifications from your phone's settings, they work as soon as you return to the app. • Fixed: the send button now looks right on every phone. • Fixed: tapping a notification while the app is closed opens the note. What's new in 2.3.1: • An under-the-hood update to make the app faster and more stable. • Fixed: scrolling quickly through the feed could like a note or save it to favorites by accident. • Fixed: the AR camera now turns on only when you open AR, and no longer shows a black screen the first time. • Fixed: the “More actions” menu is now easy to read in light and dark mode. Ideas or issues? Write to us.

What's new in 2.3.0: • Choose your notifications: activity on your notes, notes near yours, reminders and memories. • A heads-up when someone you follow leaves a note, and when a note of yours turns a month or a year old. • Your streak in My Notes, with a reminder so you don't lose it. • Saved a favorite nearby? The app lets you know. • Shared links now use locapp.app and open the app right away. • Fixed: profiles that could freeze, and the Back button on launch. Ideas or issues? Write to us.

• No notes near you yet? The app invites you to leave the first one or invite someone, and shows the closest notes that do exist. • Notes from around the world now appear separately, with their own label. • Signing in with the link from your email now takes you straight to your profile. • Privacy & data explains more clearly what stays on your phone and what gets sent. • New writing prompts and better translations. Ideas or issues? Write to us — we read everything.

Tap a note to open it. That simple. • Double-tap still likes it, and the place map now opens from the note's footer, which got a cleaner look. • Right after publishing, share your note as a photo card without leaving the celebration. And when you share as an image, we leave the link copied so you can paste it alongside. • Invite someone to leave notes — the button lives in Settings and on your profile. • In augmented reality you can now open the note in front of you to comment or share it. • Write your note even before turning on location: you only need it to publish, and the app tells you exactly what's missing. • Large photos no longer fail to upload — we resize them automatically.

Never a blank screen again. • If there are no notes in your radius, we now show you the closest ones instead of an empty map. • Every note shows the name of the place it was left at, not a pair of coordinates. • Sharing a note now sends a link with a rich preview — it looks right in WhatsApp and iMessage. Prefer the old card? It's still there under "Share as image". • We'll let you know when someone likes your note or leaves one near yours. No spam: a few a day at most, and never in the middle of the night. • You can now share a whole hashtag, not just a single note. • The default radius is now 3 km (if you already picked yours, it stays).

LocApp 2.0 goes social! • Create your account with just your email — no passwords, we send you a magic link. • Get your own profile with a name, @username, and photo. • Notes now show who left them, and you can comment on them. • Follow people and discover their notes in the new "Following" feed. • Get notified when someone starts following you. • Share your profile with a direct link. • Refreshed tutorial and design improvements throughout the app. Ideas or issues? Write to us — we read everything.
