Practice with a friendly gnome! Adjust tempo, beats, subdivisions and sounds to build solid rhythm skills for lessons, rehearsals and home practice.
Meet Metrognome, a fun and friendly metronome that helps musicians of all ages keep a steady beat.
Designed with kids, students and teachers in mind, Metrognome turns rhythm practice into a playful experience instead of a boring click.
- Practice with a Friendly Gnome
Watch the Metrognome keep time while you play. The clear interface makes it easy for beginners to understand tempo, beats and rhythm, while still giving advanced players the control they need.
- Flexible Tempo & BPM Control
• Adjust BPM (beats per minute) with a smooth slider
• See a helpful tempo name like Andante, Moderato or Allegro under the number
• Perfect for warming up, scales, sight-reading and performance practice
- Beats & Subdivisions
• Choose how many beats per bar you want (2, 3, 4, 6 and more)
• Use subdivisions to break each beat into equal parts:
◦ one click per beat
◦ eighth notes
◦ triplets
◦ sixteenth notes
• Great for learning tricky rhythms, dotted notes and syncopation
- Sounds You Can Change
• Pick from multiple sound sets: Digital, Cartoon, Classic, Drum, Metal
• Choose the click that’s easiest to hear - or the one that feels most fun
• The first beat is accented so you always feel where the bar starts
- Built for Lessons & Home Practice
Metrognome works beautifully in music lessons, band rehearsals and individual practice.
Use it for:
• Piano, guitar, violin, drums, voice and more
• Ear training and sight-reading practice
• Keeping students focused on timing and groove
• Building a strong internal sense of pulse from the very beginning
- Simple for Kids, Powerful for Musicians
The clean design is easy enough for children to use on their own, but flexible enough for serious musicians who need precise tempo and beat settings.
