Narrum

Read PDFs & articles aloud

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Turn everything you mean to read into audio. Articles, PDFs, web pages — and a Morning Briefing that's ready to listen when you wake up. Private and on‑device. Narrum turns everything you mean to read into something you can listen to. Save an article, a PDF, a web page or even a photo of text, and Narrum reads it aloud in a calm, natural HD voice — so you can “read” on your commute, at the gym, while cooking, or just resting your eyes. WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT • Natural HD voice — clear and pleasant, not robotic. • Follow along, word by word — the current line is highlighted as it reads, so you can read and listen at the same time. • Add almost anything — articles, PDFs, web pages, plain text, and photos of text. • Made for your commute — build a queue and just press play. No screen required. • Morning Briefing — pick your news channels and wake up to a fresh, ready‑to‑listen digest every day. Tap any story to hear the full article. • Private by design — your library is processed and stored on your iPhone. No account needed. • Works offline — the voice runs fully on‑device, so it keeps reading with no signal. • English & Spanish — Narrum reads both beautifully. HOW IT WORKS 1. Share an article from Safari, import a PDF, paste text, or snap a photo. 2. Narrum prepares a natural‑voice narration — and starts playing right away. 3. Listen, follow the highlighted text, adjust the speed (0.75×–2×), and pick up right where you left off. GREAT FOR • Commuters and travelers • Students and researchers working through long PDFs • Anyone with a huge “read‑it‑later” pile • People who prefer listening, or want to rest their eyes NARRUM UNLIMITED (subscription) Narrum is free to use — add up to 5 items per week.
