Writer: This app gives you daily writing prompts, an easy way to write daily and keep your motivation to write daily, and people to read your writing. Yes, you can get people to read your writing even if everywhere else it feels like chasing people down in the vain hope they read it. Worst case and somehow the algorithm doesn’t work for you, just commenting on other’s newly posted stories guarantees they will then check you out and possibly stick around. Good for beginning and advanced writers alike. It also has a great community of writers. Also good for experimenting in genres and much more that I forgot off the top of my head.Readers: Endlessss content, and it’s pretty good too. You can subscribe to your favorite writers/series so you never miss an update, and set up a great trickle of daily updates to stories you are invested in. As time goes on established stories that might even be finished will become more available as well, if you are more of a marathoner. And more benefits I can’t remember off the top of my head.Want to be a reader: What if you want to read more, but don’t like reading yet? Trying to get off of TikTok and a little more words read in? Curing the aversion to reading school gave you?Absolutely perfect. Short form reading content means even if you have a short attention span you’ll be able to read something less then 100 words. This is ideal entry level content to liking to read. You’ll get exposure to genres to see what you like, and are likely to find yourself reading a series start to finish eventually, unlocking a longer attention span that could build into the ability to enjoy a book. And this is all what I can think of off the top of my head

There needs to be options for 100 word prompts, 500 word prompts, and 1000 word prompts. You should also have a page of highlighted posts for the day and put out a top 10 of the best posts for each prompt every day. It would be also super cool to have community’s on the app where you can make new writing friends to help support your work. As for category’s, it would be nice to have more specific categories that aren’t so general. Like philosophy could be existentialism, pessimism, optimism, stoic, nihilism, rationalism, impericism. This goes for every genre. I guess sub categories of genres could be cool. Also suggestion box on the app for a daily prompt, and a vote on a daily prompt. And writing competitions where the prize is a lil trophy in ur bio. Idk just some fun ideas, please add 500 and 1000 word limit options plz, that’s like a must.

I do enjoy this app, I’ve had it for a few days. In the short amount of time I’ve been using it, one thing has stood out to me. When attempting to post a snipfic, if you have something it deems ‘inappropriate’, it won’t let you post the story until you fix it. That is not my problem with this app. My problem is that although it tells you you have something you need to change, it doesn’t tell you what that thing is. I am trying to post a story, but it won’t let me. I do not have cursing in it, and there are no explicit scenes. In the case that there was someone writing about abuse and it censors that, I have a huge issue. Abuse and other things like it are very real issues that people can spread awareness about through using their gifts, and for me, writing is one of them. People can’t use their gifts on this app if some algorithm censors it for them. Yes, there are other ways to spread awareness. Yes, having a small change on one app may not make such a difference in the long run. But it is still important to do what we can with what we have. All in all, I do like this app, but please please please don’t censor real life issues and events!

A fellow writer of concern
This app is amazing. Actually, it’s beyond amazing. It’s perfect for breaking writer’s block, getting into the writing mood, building habits, sharing stories, and seeing fellow writers show off their bewitching skills. I could ramble on and on about all the little details I’ve noticed, the improvements that make this piece of perfection impossibly more perfect, but I’ll keep it short—I (and several others) love this app. The community it’s build, the doors it’s opened, and the words it’s spread are worthy a standing ovation I’d definitely give even if I’m the only doing it. The themes and ability to add series in addition to the advertised prompts make it exceptional to use no matter what you as a writer do. So far, I’ve answered prompts, shared prose, and exposed small bits of my works in progress.

- Added the ability to request a content warning for a SnipFic. If granted, the SnipFic will have a warning. - Made the collaboration request acceptance page a lot nicer-looking. - Made it so when a user who isn’t following anyone goes to the following feed, they see popular writer suggestions with the types of stories they write. - Made it so the following area on the profile shows suggested writers if user isn't following anyone. - Made it so writer search results show the types of stories that they write. - Made it so more search results load as the user scrolls.
