Profiles and external links now open faster and more reliably. Loading states are clearer, and failed requests can be retried. Links still reach the right note or profile after a cold start, across servers, or after returning to Rote. Image export has a fresh look. Switch between the classic card and the dot-matrix print theme. Long notes no longer get cut off, attachments stay in a clear order, and exports are saved or shared as compatible PNG files. Shortcuts and syncing are more reliable. Shared webpages return to links while media previews are preserved. This update also improves local data recovery and fixes the memory timeline flicker at launch.

Take your Rote data with you: export your complete data as a JSON file for backup or use elsewhere. Animated GIFs and Live Photos now play more reliably, while Explore refreshes, note menus, and reaction long-press gestures feel smoother.

Animated GIFs now play throughout Rote—even from image links without a file extension. Image previews are smoother to zoom, pan, and dismiss. Long-press a Live Photo to hear its original sound, and pending sync icons now use a calmer gray. AI answers preserve grouped and reference-style citations more reliably, including citations in Markdown code. Long-press a note and choose Select to archive or delete several notes at once.

Finally, Memory has arrived in the Rote iOS app! Now Rote can play along as your second brain. Ask it to look at how your priorities have shifted lately, guess your notes' MBTI, or join you in a little self-exploration. We've added semantic search. Search is no longer limited to matching text—there's now a semantic search that understands you better. We've improved note-taking offline. You can now create, edit, and delete notes smoothly even without a network connection. We've also added in-app release notes, improved image previews, and made lots of other small improvements throughout the app!

Rote now welcomes new users with an in-app guide instead of creating an automatic welcome note in your timeline. New: • A dedicated guide introduces Rote, public notes, widgets, shortcuts, OpenKey, self-hosting, and related tools. • The guide can be opened from Home while you are getting started, and from Settings whenever you want to read it again. Improved: • The Home guide entry automatically gets out of the way after you have seen it and created a few notes. • Text size handling now uses a shared preference helper for more consistent display behavior. • Refreshed accent color and localized guide copy.

Shortcut capture is now more reliable. Save text, links, images, and videos from the clipboard with clearer handling and fewer empty-clipboard failures. Rate Rote more easily from About, with review prompts timed around meaningful moments like finishing your profile or writing notes. The About page now keeps app details clearer: site info, service status, login methods, and AI capabilities are organized into focused detail pages. This resubmission also fixes a possible freeze when opening profiles from note details, certification application notifications, and occasional new-note draft restore hangs, plus improves certification sheets, note menus, and haptic feedback.
