A stunning folder-based music player for your Apple TV that brings your music library from Plex, Emby, Dropbox, OneDrive, NAS, your computer - basically from wherever.
Niche is a tribute to the great Apple TV, designed to connect you with your audio collection. Plex, Emby, Dropbox, OneDrive, your NAS drive, a USB stick plugged into your router, your computer or any WebDAV server - basically wherever it lives, Niche brings your entire music library onto the largest screen of your home. Taking advantage of this giant canvas, it presents everything straight at you - no doors, no curtains, no diving deep under settings and menus to get your job done. It’s also a classic folder-based player. Don't worry if your collection isn't perfectly tagged with metadata; it’s your organization that Niche will work with.
Every square inch of the Niche interface, you'll find an uncompromising passion and respect for music. Here are some of the unique features Niche offers:
AMBIENT SOUNDSCAPES: Controllable background ambiance. Don’t you sometimes crave hearing a song on a rainy day or by a crackling fire?
5-BAND EQ: A precision equalizer guaranteed to enhance music without distortion or clipping. Ideal for some manual room correction or compensating equipment bias.
ATTACHABLE EQ: Save your loved settings for specific songs or entire albums that need a touch more warmth or a bass boost
SMART SHUFFLE: A location-aware shuffle button. Hit it wherever you are; it intuitively understands your intent. You won't have to think twice.
STEADY VOLUME: Global volume leveling ensures a consistent output across tracks - no more rushing for the volume buttons when the next track is too loud or soft.
ETHEREAL ECHO: A unique resonance designed through meticulous tuning and experimentation to add a beautiful atmospheric touch when you crave it.
SNEAKY SPARKLE: Little shimmer, with one of the 5 Sparkle presets, no one will judge you.
INFINITY MODE: Along with standard repeat options, the Infinity mode keeps your music going on and on, forever.
QUICK SEARCH: An incredibly responsive search mode that takes you to your query as fast as machine-ly possible.
AND, drumroll please... DARK VIEW. This simply turns your display off. No distractions, no lights and no headaches!
I really hope you love Niche. The free mode lets you explore every feature. So, take your time, connect your music library with Niche, check if everything looks and feels perfect. If Niche works for you, a single lifetime purchase removes the playback restriction forever. Niche might just become the best reason to turn on your Apple TV.
