more • See when each app launched: Top Apps now shows its launch date next to ratings and revenue, so you can tell at a glance whether a keyword is ruled by long-time leaders or new arrivals.
• The ranking chart's 1W, 1M and 3M views now cover the full week, month or quarter, and the rank scale no longer skips numbers.
• Simpler start: the Dashboard is gone, so Kranked opens straight onto your apps.
2.11.0 19h ago
• Connect Agent now gives a new, permanent address for the Kranked MCP server: mcp.tallpoppystudio.com. Agents you've already connected keep working; there's nothing you need to change.
2.10.2 3d ago
• Tap any app in a keyword's Top Apps list to open its App Store page, in that keyword's country.
• Zoom the ranking chart: pick 1W, 1M, 3M, 1Y or All, or pinch it. The rank scale adjusts to what's on screen, so small moves near the top are easier to see.
• Ranks your Home Screen widget checks are now saved, so they show up in the keyword list and on the ranking chart.
• Easier to read in light mode: difficulty, popularity and KEI scores, rank changes and other colored text now use darker shades with proper contrast. Estimated scores keep their dashed outline without fading the number.
2.10.1 Oct 21
• New Metadata Simulator: draft your title, subtitle and keyword field and see which of your tracked keywords they would cover, and from which field, before you touch App Store Connect. With an App Store Connect key it shows what the draft gains or loses against your live listing, and flags wasted characters.
• New Visibility score on the dashboard: how much of your tracked keywords' popularity your ranks earn, with a 30-day trend and this week's change. The weekly digest mentions it too.
• A keyword tracked in several countries now lists the others on its detail screen, side by side.
2.10.0 Sep 30
• Track keywords in every App Store country, not just 13. Pick a country from a searchable list by name or code.
• App Store Connect import now reads keywords from all your localizations, including Hungarian, Korean, Latin American Spanish and the Nordic languages.
• Keyword discovery and competitor scans find more ideas in each app's name, subtitle and description, then check every one against live App Store rankings.
• The keyword list shows difficulty, popularity and KEI as colored pills, with countries lined up in one column.
• Ranking charts now go all the way to #1. Tap or drag across a chart to see the rank on any date and how competitors stood then.
• Tipping works more reliably on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
2.9.0 Sep 30
• Import your own apps from App Store Connect. Add your API key once in Kranked on your Mac, then pick exactly which apps and keywords to track, including phrases from each app's title and subtitle.
• Keyword Gaps now shows the searches your competitors rank for that you don't track, including terms from their hidden keyword field, without their brand names.
• Compare Rankings shows when competitor ranks were last checked, has a Refresh button, and marks keywords a competitor doesn't rank for in the top 200.
• Sort your keywords by a second field, like Country, then Rank.
• Adding an app opens it straight away, and each keyword list shows the app's icon.
• Fixed an app sometimes appearing twice in the list with its keywords split between the two.
• Thank you, Linh, for finding and reporting the bugs fixed in this update.
2.8.0 Sep 28
• Connecting Apple Ads now upgrades the keywords you already track. Tap Test Connection and every keyword Apple has data for switches from an estimate to Apple's own popularity, with a count of how many were covered. Background refreshes keep those numbers current too.
• Apple only publishes popularity for the more-searched terms in each category, so niche and long-tail keywords keep an estimate, marked "~". The Apple Ads screen now explains this.
• New Send Feedback button in Settings. Questions, bugs and ideas go straight to the developer.
2.7.1 Sep 24
• Refresh one keyword instead of the whole list. Right-click a row on Mac and iPad, or long-press or swipe right on iPhone, and only that keyword is re-checked. Select several rows first to refresh exactly those.
• Taiwan and Hong Kong storefronts, so both Traditional-Chinese markets can be tracked alongside mainland China. They work anywhere a country is picked, including competitor scans, CSV import and Shortcuts.
• The keyword list's numbers line up. Rank, difficulty, popularity and KEI each hold their own column, and the up or down change indicator no longer shifts the rank next to it.
• Fixed the dashboard's per-app stats breaking mid-number, where "#100" could render as "#10" above a stray "0".
2.7.0 Sep 16
• Rank history is now single-source. If Kranked could not reach the App Store's own search ordering, it quietly used a position from Apple's public Search API instead, which orders apps differently. That number was saved to your history and could set off a rank change alert, so charts could show movement that never happened. Stored ranks now come from the App Store ordering or are not recorded at all.
• Large refreshes no longer trip Apple's rate limit. Requests are spaced from one place and back off further when Apple pushes back. That throttling is what made the substitution happen so often.
• Typing and searching stay responsive while a refresh runs. Add App, autocomplete, the keyword detail screen and the Shortcuts action skip the queue.
• New Rank Source setting. "App Store ordering only" leaves a rank blank rather than show a Search API position. Off by default, and the widget follows it too.
2.6.1 Sep 10
• Support Kranked. The app stays free and every feature stays unlocked. If it's useful to you, there's now a tip jar with two one-off amounts, and you can give again whenever you like. It sits in the sidebar and in Settings, and it never interrupts you on launch.
• Competitor keywords now say which field they came from. The App Store ranks an app only for terms in its title, subtitle, or private keyword field. Kranked can read subtitles now, so a term shows as "their subtitle" when it's somewhere you can see and copy, and "keyword field" when it's one they targeted where nobody can look. That second one is the finding worth acting on.
• Where Apple serves no subtitle for a storefront, the old combined label stays, because nothing was learned.
2.6.0 Sep 4
• "Your Rank" and the Top Apps list below it now always come from the same moment. Opening a keyword refreshes its rank from the very results the list is built from, so the two numbers can no longer disagree with each other.
• If you came from 2.5.1, your saved ranks were recorded by the old ranking source. Opening or refreshing a keyword moves it onto the App Store's own ordering.
• Top Apps rows are numbered by the rank the store gives each app rather than by their position in the list, so an app the store does not serve in your country no longer shifts the numbering of everything below it.
2.5.2 Sep 3
• Ranks now match the App Store. Kranked was reading rankings from Apple's documented Search API, which returns a different order than the store shows. Every rank now comes from the store's own search results.
• Deeper coverage. Rank checks reach about 250 results instead of stopping near 180, so keywords that read as unranked may now show a position.
• Expect a one-time shift in your rank history on the first refresh. That is the correction landing, not a ranking change.
• Fixed: keywords on a storefront outside the country picker, added by CSV import or by an agent, were getting US keyword suggestions.
Thanks to Roeland for reporting the ranking discrepancy.
2.5.1 Sep 1
• Spy on a competitor's keywords: tap any competitor to see the terms they rank for, mined from their public metadata and verified against the store. Terms missing from their public name are flagged as likely subtitle or keyword-field picks, and you can track any of them in one tap.
• Refresh is much faster: one search per keyword now covers your rank, competitor ranks, and difficulty together, so big refreshes make a fraction of the requests and stop running into the App Store rate limit.
• Smoother while refreshing: results are parsed off the main thread, and the dashboard and keyword list no longer redo their work on every frame.
• The refresh progress pill survives switching apps mid-refresh.
• The ranking history chart pins #1 to the top, where it belongs.
2.5.0 Aug 30
• Keyword Traffic now uses Apple's own App Store search popularity when you connect an Apple Ads account in Settings.
• Estimated popularity is marked with a ~ so you can tell a measured score from an approximation. KEI is marked the same way, since it divides by Traffic.
• Select several keywords and delete them together: Select Keywords in the More menu on iPhone, or row selection and the Delete key on iPad and Mac.
• Compare Rankings keeps its column header in view while you scroll, shows competitor names in full, and scrolls sideways when there are more competitors than fit.
• Keyword CSV export includes a traffic_source column recording where each score came from.
2.4.1 Aug 19
• One Refresh now updates everything: ranks, difficulty, traffic and competitor positions
• Discover keywords your competitors rank for — and see any app's estimated revenue and downloads
• Rank alerts: boundary crossings, new rankings, lost rankings and a weekly digest
• Export keywords and history as CSV or a PDF report; check ranks from the Shortcuts app
• New Settings: default country, refresh frequency and notification preferences
• Keywords added by your agent now appear as soon as the app comes to the foreground
• Fixes: duplicate adds explain themselves, your sort choice is remembered, Mac sheet layouts
