Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• New D3 Conclusions drill: practise the quality and ageing reasoning for a flight by tapping together the evidence behind each level argument. You get a live checklist, a "How is this marked?" explainer, coach notes, common mistakes and a model answer. "Practise my weak spots" picks wines that target the answers you miss most, and your history and a Conclusions card are in Stats.
• D3 Flight ID argument builder: build the common thread and the per-wine reasons by tapping, with several reasons allowed per wine. Readings are checked against typical-of-variety profiles, and the decoys are more plausible.
• D3 Write & Grade upgrades: a structured results screen with descriptor-by-descriptor grading, a full attempt history with weak spots, a read-only review of past attempts, and the option to practise a specific wine again.
• Flight ID wines are now rated with a BLIC points rubric aligned with the WSET tasting guidance. Region and country answers are always selectable, and the full origin (country, region, appellation) is shown when you reveal a wine.
• New WSET 3 Sake study track, available as its own quiz type and study pack.
• Matching and Mixed Review modules have been replaced by a leaner flow: type-to-answer is more focused, and a matching round now runs inside your session.
• Refreshed look: unified navigation bar across screens (Exam Prep settings now live in Settings), burgundy for primary screens and beige for secondary ones, and a shared style for D3 results summaries. The app is now locked to portrait.
• 53 achievements to unlock (up from the previous set), and a smoother D3 attempt-history loading screen.
• Master of Wine track: every flashcard, explanation and essay-prep outline has been fact-checked against its source book, with corrections, clearer explanations and cleaner citations. It now has 1,800+ theory flashcards.
• Hundreds more quiz questions reviewed and corrected across WSET D1–D4: fixed outdated statistics (including the South Africa chapter, updated to the current edition), factual errors and mismatched answers, and tighter multiple-choice options with fewer giveaway distractors. Quantities now read as digits and symbols ("40 %" instead of "Forty per cent"). Your progress on reworded cards is kept.
• Better auto-generated quality and ageing comments in tasting notes, now following WSET guidance, with example descriptors and clearer reasons and outcomes. The full sub-colour name now appears in tasting note details.
• More of the app translated into French: the Conclusions wording, Flight ID note templates, calibration prompts, Stats lines and the D3 tab labels. (The Conclusions drill itself is English-only, as the WSET Diploma has no French edition.)
• Fixes: a stale review candidate no longer leaks into the next D3 focus block's review pass, a quantity-formatting issue in answers is fixed, and the single-variety wine and grape trait data now matches the D3 textbook.
