Long audio and video files are transcribed by a separate engine, so the microphone hotkey keeps working while a file is still being processed. • Transcription results now show the source file path, which makes entries in History easier to tell apart. • SpeakType publishes a microphone-in-use signal while recording, so your own tools and scripts can pause audio playback while you dictate. • The menu bar icon is dimmed when idle, so it is no longer mistaken for the system microphone indicator or for other apps in the menu bar.
